1:19 isn’t just a remake of the original title. It’s a nice little reminder that we have been here since the beginning, and that we get to sadly see the end of arguably the greatest story in history. All Star Wars fans know that this is the end just from that moment, and that it creates a sense of nostalgia. It takes us back to when we didn’t really understand Star Wars, and we just wanted to see the lightsaber fight scenes, and it carries us through our past with Star Wars.
I literally have no seen any star wars movies since the original trilogy, but hearing this one moment in the trailer made me want to see this in theaters...
And yes, the story lived on forever. There's definitely a lot more of stuff randomly added in different parts of time that is honestly starting to be hard to catch up with. There's a bounty hunter with an alien kid, which is fine for standalone, as well as the story of how a rebel from rogue one gets his own show, but then everything started to pile up: there's a clone squad with a kid of their own, Ahsoka gets to have as much appearances as she can have, Obi-Wan has to rescue Leia while also fighting Vader, etc.
I watched the final trailer today for the first time. I watched the film earlier. Even in the cinema, with my eyes closed, I cried. And today was the same thing. 1:19 happened and I broke down.
Say what you want about this movie, but when I heard this score for the first time literally cried as my inner child screamed in joy. What a time to be alive. I love you Star Wars.
Yeah it's fucking weird, they did the same shit with The Force Awakens, the soundtrack for one trailer was phenomenal!! Never made it to the actual movie
@@andres.torres.arias-ec It's not weird at all. This type of music is specifically made for trailers and therefore has a specific style that works best in an edited video. And Star Wars is definitly not the only one that is using trailer music for its trailers but not for its actual movies.
Carlos Ponce this one is not, but this guy created pretty much exact composition that is in the trailer so that people could hear it without the movie sounds hiding the music. Williams did write this original piece. And it definitely should have been in the movie.
If you listen to the finale track, or stayed to the final minutes of the credits, you will hear John Williams say goodbye to Star Wars. Its musically satisfying.
“May the force be with you” - Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Rey, Ben Solo, Han Solo, Yoda, Leia Skywalker, Padme Amadala, Lando Callrissian, Mace Windu, Finn, Poe, Qui-Gon Jin, Ashoka Tano, etc.
Sequels are cba we they’ve ruined everything about Star wats especially the originals I won’t forgive the unoriginal cunts that made thirds pathetic cancer movies and they need to end Star Wars now before they turn it into a joke which they already have with these spaceballs unfunny your momma joke pathetic trilogy
DOGE I don’t like the force awakens it’s a not a badly made film buts it’s just a cheap ass new hope bootleg completely copying the film and shitting all over the originals whilst doing it. That’s all the sequels have been unoriginal uninspired parody garbage rehash rip off crap that has added absolutely nothing to the amazing Star Wars universe whilst shitting all over the original trilogy by doing it again and killing off the original characters in less than spectacular fashion. I’m not a hater but I am distraught at what Star Wars has become under Disney with it’s awful fanfic parody spaceballs marvel wanabes movies. And the fact is Disney will just make more and more movies and make it worse by adding more and more feminist politcal agenda diversity lgbtq into a sci fi space opera that is not theirs. No one wants to see that crap in movies and unfortunately it’s happening in them all right now which is why we get female ghostbusters and black James Bond. Can’t imagine what amazons lord of the rings will be gay hobbits and transgender eleves probably. And I’m not a hater of diversity lgbtq or anything like that but using white male created franchises and slap that stuff on it is just ruining movies. But my real problem with these Star Wars movies is how much they’ve copied and ripped off the originals and not even respect the source material. We don’t even know what happened between return and force awakens the sequels don’t even have a story and changing directors in between shows how stupid they are and have been with this terrible parody trilogy lmao
1:19 John Williams was able to take his own flawless masterpiece and turn it into something that accurately represents the end of a saga that is bigger than all of us, even if the movie wasn’t that great
This piece makes me scream every time. It’s just so good. 1:19 is kinda emotional especially for someone like me who has been in love with Star Wars from the age of 3. Love it!
@Nina Zuvela nah don’t worry they come into out with the next ones in...... 2 0 2 5 probably because they are money hungry and want to make more sooner which I don’t mind as long as their enjoyable
Picture this: 1:10 Rey and Ben have been dueling the emperor in the middle of all our chaos with fighting between the Rebels and the new order. Rey and Ben get brought to their knees by Palpatine. Rey tried to summon her light saber but Palpatines powers surpass hers as he keeps it glued to the ground. Rey closes her eyes and remembers her struggles, hears anakins voice yell REY and she screams, her lightsaber goes flying in her direction. Suddenly everything goes silent, Palpatine gets pushed back. The fighting stops as everyone stares, Rey looks at her hand, only she was not the one who summoned her lightsaber, or pushed back Palpatine. As she looks forward she sees the figure of a warrior dressed in white and black armor, we go over to Palpatine face, which in disgust says the word, “Skywalker”, (1:15) an epic soundtrack begins we see the body of Anakin Skywalker standing between Rey and the emperor, holding his lightsaber once again, as troops from both sides stare in awe, the emperor tries to fight back, but is clearly outmatched. The emperor orders ships to fire on Anakin Skywalker, but they have no effect, it as if he has manifested into a god, Anakin then closes his eyes and all ships seize firing and plummet into the ground. Haven’t worked out the rest but hope someone reads this and enjoys it
Louis Paula I love this, even with the new movies I still believe Star Wars is the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker. He didn’t become Vader for power he did it for padme. The sequels completely fucked Anakin over it’s not about Rey and I hate to say it not even about Luke... It’s about Anakin the chosen one, one who will destroy all the sith (which he did) until this movie came out
I'm in tears! Final episode in the Skywalker Saga. Final John Williams composed Star Wars movie. 1:17 may very well be the finest piece of Star Wars music ever!
Star Wars... is just a masterpiece. Even if I didn't like certain films (Last Jedi), the entire series is, by itself, a masterpiece. It's been around for 42 years. Spanning nine main movies, several animated series, video games, and two 'Stories,' Star Wars has been a masterpiece ever since it debuted in 1977. The MCU may be the main thing now, but Star Wars will always be the thing I grew with. After playing 'LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga' on the DS, it's stuck around with me, and I'm invested with its history. Its rich lore. And, perhaps most of all, the characters. From Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia (RIP Carrie Fisher), Star Wars has the best characters in any franchise (in my opinion). The music is also top-notch too. John Williams is the most amazing composer, and it's sad to hear he'll be retiring from Star Wars after 'Rise of Skywalker,' but he deserves it. He deserves to rest after all the amazing work he's done. In more ways than one, the Star Wars franchise is much better than the MCU, and it will continue to be amazing for the foreseeable future. I give thanks for the crew who worked on this franchise for 42 years. I give thanks for the actors and actresses who gave us amazing characters to watch. I give thanks for John Williams for composing the beautiful soundtrack for all these films. And, most of all, I give thanks to George Lucas, who, if he had not came up with the idea for the original movie, we wouldn't have this amazing franchise, to entertain us, and to everything this man has given us. Thank you, George Lucas. Thank you, everyone, who worked on this franchise. And I hope Star Wars continues after this. 1:19 is more than a simple part of a song. It's the song for the fans of Star Wars, and future fans of the franchise.
I hate the prequels, love the originals, and also the sequals, but I gotta agree with you. John Williams is a fucking legend. He made me enjoy all three trilogies (some more than others), and deserves a billion Oscars if that's what it takes
@@Travisman123_ The prequels, in my opinion, is probably my favorite trilogy. While the writing could've been better, and the story was... Average as best, they had perhaps the best fight scenes in si-fi movie history. From Qui-gon and Obi-Wan vs Darth Maul, to my personal favorite battle in Duel on Mustafar, the fight scenes were amazing. While the originals are best in storytelling and dialogue, the only fight scenes I can remember are the Cloud City Duel and the Death Star II duel. Still respect your opinion.
@@cannedburritto6065 thanks for putting it on me in a respectful way. I don't have a problem with that. Some of the duels in those movies are addmitadely pretty cool
ALIENS IN THE ATTIC Trailer (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Style) 1:19 - On July 31 1:35 - One Family Will Come Together 1:39 - For The Biggest Adventure In The Universe
The Saga will end! But the Story lives forever! In movies In music In series In toys In comics But most importantly...in our Hearts! May the Force be with this universe, forever!
I have to say this, Return of the Jedi had a better ending than Rise of Skywalker, although Sidious's demise I did like better in "episode 9", it was like some callback to episode 3 while in episode 6 all that happened was Vader just picking up his master and throwing him into a pit. Both Rey and Ben should've been in that force lightning struggle. I know Luke said that "some things are stronger than blood" but Rey calling herself "Rey Skywalker" was stupid, if Ben was still alive and with her to burry the lightsabers it would've been a lot less stupid for sure. Of course the entire Sequel trilogy was mediocre (at least to me it was), but the positives in there (at least to me) were scenes like the fight with Smoke's red guards and the final war on Exegol (the rebels fighting the final order in the sky). I still admit the trilogy was still far from perfection.
I’ve listened to this without watching the trailers thus far. So I can cry to this and not anticipate the visuals of the trailers. Go in clean already in tears
alexs greekly digest correct me if I’m wrong but that first initial swell brass that starts at 1:19 are French horns then trumpets carry the torch right after with the upper octave.
@Akira Toriyama look, I get some people like it, but I don't. I don't want a Mary sue, and stupid jokes. To prove my point, watch this: ruclips.net/video/5ECwhB21Pnk/видео.html
1:19 what runs through my head is the way how this music brings so much memories of the original Star Wars to the 2000s and now this! Star Wars taught us so many things and the story as well. The Force Will Always be with you…Always! -Ben Kenobi
Only a true master in his art can evoke these kind of feelings. Goosebumps and tears of joy at the sheer epicness of the music, and not a word sung. Powerful.
The part in 1:19 could've been played in the movie, when the calvary arrived in Exegol and starts fighting the star destroyers with a quick montage showing familiar faces inside the ships!!! Just imagine: Hera Syndulla, Din Djarin, Sabine Wren, the pilot from Jedi Fallen Order, that ex-imperials from Battlefront II, the clones that survived from The Clone Wars... Everyone we know from movies, series, books, comic books, all together against the Final Order!!!
This made me tear up even though I'm not a fan of the direction Disney took the Sequel Trilogy! It's made more emotional knowing that this is the final trailer for the final film of the Skywalker Saga! The stories of all of the great characters we all grew up knowing is finally coming to a conclusion!
Fearless 512 I still feel utterly robbed by this trilogy. The Sequels should have been the greatest cinematic event of this century & yet they were a forgettable, poorly executed footnote, totally overshadowed by Marvel & a million other, better movies.
@@tsukopara2054 Exactly! Instead of giving us a properly organized story they made broken movies that couldn't even connect to each other with plot holes and stupidity.
I‘m literally shaking and I’m tears. I‘m part of the generation this saga ends. And I‘m sad I‘m not a part of the generation this saga began. Salute to all the vets who grew up with this
Luke Skywalker was afraid about Ben , still , he supported Rey even after feeling that she is unstable , because he knew that she will be the one to bring the balance to the force , as the last Skywalker !
He probably had very little involvement with the actual trailer and editing process. He is not a good director honestly speaking, just has his name attached to big projects. Not very original either. You should strive to be like Spielberg, Hitchcock, or Kubrick, not JJ.
The crew that actually worked on the movie have very little involvement in the trailer and advertising process. The producer likely sent the clips they wanted in the movie/were not spoilers to agencies, and had them compete for the job by submitting their own versions of the trailers.
This song has me so excited. It’s just a mix of feelings: sadness (because the saga ended), happiness, joy, nostalgia. I can’t even explain it. It’s just amazing.
Man, I teared up during the trailer of TFA (because I missed Star Wars so much since Revenge of the Sith). This music made me tear up once more for Star Wars (and i'm one of the guys that dislikes Disney's Star Wars so far). Thanks for the audio only version!
@@stevecollins5487 thing is that George Lucas was supposedly gonna make the emperor return in his version of episode 9 aswell but the thing is... Luke would still be alive and he would've trained Leia the ways of the Jedi in his version instead of making Luke a grumpy old man and adding a Mary Sue character such as Rey...
@Akira Toriyama the only actual issues she has is having parental struggle like every Skywalker so far... That's it. She has no actual realistic character traits... She might not fit the literal definition of a Mary Sue but God is she close. I like Daisy Ridley, I dislike Rey. @@JJZXWRLDxo okay, i'll take a risk here but honestly, i could even say that 8 is one of my favorite, its very psycological, i think luke was exactly how he should have been after all these years and everything that happened and Rey & Kylo ren are AMAZINGLY developed, Kylo ren finally took the place he needed to take and there, i said it. OF COURSE the movie is not perfect, its FAR from perfect but so are the others... no movie is perfect because after all, THEY'RE MOVIES, its not real life...
Nothing’s gonna miss me more than going to the cinema with my dad and talking about theories before the movie begins, and being so exited as the text “A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...” appears on the screen, waiting for the fantastic theme song to start...

Definitely, it was a below average film that tried too hard to make everyone love it and failed miserably. It was still entertaining though. But I honestly don't know how to feel about the Sequel trilogy because I loved and still love episode 7, I fucking hate episode 8, and episode 9 was mediocre.
1:19 still makes me choke up.. I don’t care if we’re talking about the original trilogy, prequels/The Clone Wars, or Disney sequels and Rebels/Mandalorian/Rogue One/Solo. I love Star Wars and all of the memories it has given me growing up
@@caroleaful Oh I understand. The same way Endgame wasn't the end of Marvel, but the end of the Infinity Saga, but the ending of Endgame made me wish this was the end of Marvel. So, I'm hoping that the Rise of Skywalker has that same emotional impact on me.
My guess is it won't be. They haven't built up this climax at all. Sure, the trailers want you to think that everything's been leading up to this, but it hasn't. The only reason why it's the ending is because it's the third movie, and they're only willing to make three. The Last Jedi barely set up any plotlines for episode because no one writing it had a vision of how the trilogy as a whole would look like, and as a result that movie's ending was a dead end. Now this one has to begin all over again. I'm repeating myself too much, the point is that they would need at least one more movie to have a real ending. The MCU had been going in a definitive direction since Ultron (at least). Sure, they made some readjustments to side movies, but Civil War, Ragnarok and Ultron's plotlines led directly to Infinity War and Endgame.
This final trailer song is so loop worthy in all honesty, from beginning to end, I feel energized in an instant. The force is strong this month, with fallen order/Mandolorian, next months going to blow out the year great with TROS. LETS GO!!!! 1:19 on loop will always remain epic :)

I feel joyful, and hearing this particular part of the music 1:19, makes me think the long journey I took, like every Star Wars fan around the world, may the force be with you my friends!

"The saga will end, The story will live forever". That hit me.😔
Well….maybe not the last 3 episodes….

I am crying, from the disaster from this trilogy 😥😢😭😭😭
Let's all be honest here
*1:19** is the best part*
Unfortunately this epic part wasn't in the movie 🤷♂️😞
Literally gives me goosebumps every time I hear it
Nightmare Is this in the official soundtrack? And if so what’s it called?
Say what you want about this movie, but when I heard this score for the first time literally cried as my inner child screamed in joy. What a time to be alive. I love you Star Wars.
The worst part about star wars trailers is the music like this never makes it into the movie. Glad this could be recreated.
The music will be even better :)
This was Williams music rearranged by other composers, not Williams himself scoring the trailers.
Breaking news : A replay button has been raped last morning
1:19 should have been played when Lando and the galaxy turned up in the final fight instead.
Such a waste not putting this in the Movie xd

@QazyRLITERALLY WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH FEMINISM LMAO
It’s not a John Williams composition. It’s really good though.

Gemma James The force awakens was awesome, and the director for that movie (JJ Abrams) is coming back to direct this one

Rey and Ben have been dueling the emperor in the middle of all our chaos with fighting between the Rebels and the new order.
I would have paid to see this.

@@Travisman123_
The prequels, in my opinion, is probably my favorite trilogy.
Still respect your opinion.

its such a shame that the saga ended on a low note it had so much potential

JJ Abrams is perfect when it comes to advertising and trailer music. If I was a filmmaker I would go with his style.
Stuart Lugsden Same with me
He probably had very little involvement with the actual trailer and editing process.

Endgame was low
@@4faces320 what do you mean?
