Ethan you are so manipulative, as the Boss you maintain such a huge power dynamic over Ian and you showed candidally how awful you engage your employees by belittling him in an arena where he can't make you look back without repercussions. Read back what you said to him, it's disgusting and if Ian had half a spine he'd realize the major red flags now and that it's time to begin to build his own brand... One not controlled by someone so self-centered and hot-headed. The simple fact your addressing this so fast and on air shows you don't care about them (your podcast is an arena where your employees can't be as honest as person, because of hurting your brand ) They all were stepping on eggshells as they tried to express how uncomfortable you make them.

I want this comment to be productive and constructive. This used to be my favorite podcast, and lately, I've almost been dreading it coming out because I have found the last few weeks/months so tiring to listen to. I think Dan hit the nail on the head when he said that long, drawn out politic talk and beating dead horses about nothing for 45 minutes really bogs down the podcast. I really miss the light-hearted and quick witted convos about topical internet gems. I really hope they can find their rhythm again because I love these guys, and I want to keep supporting them and see them succeed!

I come back and try and listen every now and then and it's really sad that Ethan hasn't figured it out yet. He can be a good person sometimes but most of the time he is either sucking off someone with more clout than him or bullying someone with less influence. The H3 vids used to be so good and fun, and now there's just this easy-money podcast that's just whining and heaviness and "we live in a society"-ing. It's fucking depressing.

My favourite thing about this podcast is hearing Dan laughing out loud off-mic, but so loud that it still pics up in someone else’s mic. So good! Also, I didn’t hate the previous podcast. But it has been getting old is all

In regards to dans comment about the dude who overdosed: paramedic here, and i can 100% confirm that dudes who overdose usually get super pissed when they are resuscitated, so that guys reaction is not uncommon! They usually get super mad and violent at whoever helps them
This is 100 percent true. I overdosed this year a few months ago and when I was brought back I woke up angry for no reason. I did not purposely overdose either, it was accidental. But when I woke up I was surrounded by fire fighters and ambulances and I instantly got mad or angry for no reason and I have no idea still why..

That is true, sadly. They are so high and ”zoned/zen'd out” that they rather die and stay feeling that ”high” than be resuscitated. Which is really sad, imo.
So here's how I saw what went down, Ethan's new mask came off a bit, his ego has gotten a bit bigger, hes obviously doing well and everyone can fall victim to that, but the reason imo, atleast for me why I've always liked h3h3 is because it's all relatable, ethan is an everyman. Someone you can see yourself being friends with, or even becoming. Ethan never seemed to have much beyond the willingness to put himself out there, with less inhibition than most, but as soon as you lost the humility that he's had then entire way, it really pissed people off, and I think calling it a joke now is just a bitch move. He keeps repeating, about how it's not a joke, Eila keeps agreeing with all his points and replying "disrespectful" at one point, heres the thing, its fine. If he would simply own up to it, it would be over, be humble, be the Ethan that got you to where you are, people still love and want to love you, but hiding behind it's just a joke instead of "I make mistakes like everyone".. is a mistake in itself.

Yeah, this was a really light-hearted and genuine episode. Everyone participated, no jokes ran on too long, they covered some classic-style H3 content. Good ep. It's better when everyone just seems relaxed.

I got absolutely slaughtered for having the same opinion as Dan, which was that you all needed to chill out, that everything was getting blown out of proportion. That the political talk went on for too long was the only really valid criticism. I saw a girl with thousands of likes on her comment absolutely demolishing Ethan's character. So again, you all need to chill. Stop attacking Ethan.

I mean there's no denying Ethan was being an unfunny dick about it. He can't say he was playing it up when you can see he was getting legitimately mad and frustrated about Ian not participating in the show enough, which is slightly justified, but the real issue was him showing that frustration while also attempting to get a bit out of it.
As a paramedic I can confirm the guy’s reaction to Narcan (Naloxone). If people that are OD’d get the full dose, they will wake up and either fight or puke, sometimes they do both. They’ll always be pissed for “ruining” their high and they dgaf about their life being “saved”. To answer Ethan’s question about whether Narcan would work for a weed high, no it won’t. Narcan is an opioid antagonist which competitively binds to the receptor sites for opioid narcotics (i.e. heroin). This also means that it only works for those types of drugs. More importantly to know, if someone is “saved” by Narcan, they only have about 10-15 minutes before it’ll wear off, so call 911 or get them to an emergency room asap. DO NOT PUT ANY LIQUIDS IN THEIR MOUTH, they could inhale them and die. And if you give Narcan as a lay person, stand off to the side, if you don’t like getting puked on 😉
