    The pouch is a nice added value to the liner set. And what fun those paint pens look! Love the art-rocks, especially the ladybug. 🐞

      The pouch is great! Keeps them all together and organised which I really like. Saves rummaging around in a pencil case! 😁

    Another great review Becky! Do you have a gigantic warehouse built onto the back of your house to store all of your stuff in?

      Hahaha! Well it is a fairly large area; an attached granny flat at the back of our house which is now studio/office/bathroom. Even so it is starting to groan at the seams. 😂

    All of our rocks turned out so cute, in my opinion! Those paint markers looked quite nice to use.

      Thank you! I need more rocks to paint now, lol. I really like the markers, especially because there is such a variety of colours, and the value for money was great! Can't wait to see your big Christmas pressie video ❤️

    I love Posca pens (like everybody) but the Tooli pens offer amazing colors and various sets that you can't find in Posca or other paint pen brand. I got the set of Earth tone set and I really like them. I'd definitely buy other sets of Tooli.

      I love having a large variety of shades with paint pens. Some of my Tooli ones are misbehaving though and the nibs keep drying out. I think I might need to try soaking them. 😬

      It's really fun, and I have rather a lot of painted rocks now. Not sure what to do with them, so they will probably end up going out in the garden 😁

    I love the fineliner case and those acrylic pens are really nice too. I love the sunset piece you did on the biggest rock. I use a script liner or small brush to get even smaller lines when using the paint pens. You can pick up paint from the nip with a brush. :)

    Ahh those acrylic paint pens look pretty good quality and there are so many colors! Plus the silver and gold seem to be really nice which isn’t always the case with paint pens.The sunset(gorgeous!) and the oddly shaped ladybug are my favorite of your rocky creations😂 I used to love showing kids how to paint rocks as a craft for art class, and it was always a hit, especially making penguins🐧 but now that I think about it, ladybugs would’ve been a hit as well🐞🐞🐞

      Thank you! Someone suggested a strawberry for the flower rock and I'm kicking myself for not thinking of that! 😂. Rock painting is surprisingly fun, lol!

    Hello! I’m just getting into the whole art ordeal and need some paint pens for drawing cartoon/anime/comic stuff. I’m torn between the fine tip and medium, which would get good coverage but still be roughly as thin as a sharpie?

    • @BeckyTregear
      @BeckyTregear  2 года назад

      Oooh good question! My paint pen collection is sadly lacking, but I think your best bet would actually be Poscas because the ones I bought in this video are ok but the paint dries on the nibs and some of them refuse to budge now! The few Poscas I've used seem to not do this. They have fine tips are really great for line work and details, and medium for colouring in larger areas. You could probably start with fine and move up to medium if they don't cover enough? I hope that helps!

    Hi Becky update on these pens, I tried varnishing over them as they are not permenant and they smudged. I've found some on amazon that are oil based so permenant and was cheaper than these so more suitable as I wanted them to paint on paint palettes. Have a look, I think the tooli would be good for doing a drawing with though

    Hi Becky how have these paint pens held up? Any issues with drying or clogging?

    • @BeckyTregear
      @BeckyTregear  2 года назад +2

      Yeah I've had a few dry up and be extremely stubborn to reactivate. And other pens in the set are completely fine with no issues at all! So they're in the "average" category I would say!

    Nice sunset. I thought you were going to do a strawberry for the first one. Love seeing different art ideas Ive never done a rock painting it looks fun. So glad masks are starting to come off its been so hard working with them on so hopefully soon we can stop having to wear them inside as well. Thanks again Becky and Nick hands.

      Oh man, a strawberry would have been a GREAT idea! Why didn't I think of that, lol! I guess I could paint over it. 😂 It is wonderful not having to wear a mask outside. Inside I'm not so bothered but they do get hot after a while.
