Why did the other team resign?
One of their guys had catastrophic civilian losses after a raid. This, combined with their failed slinging, resulted in a devastating overall economy for the enemy team. Slinging, though at times strategically advantageous, can bread disastrous financial consequences since there is heavy taxes of resources spent/given. If a crippling blow is not done to the enemy team right after slinging, its advantages become weaknesses as the war rages on.
