DauT and Viper has such an amazing dynamic. They spend more time arguing like an old couple than actually playing and still they can outplay nearly every other matcup out there

Aha i got just that experience when i played with Viper back in the day. I couldn't play almost and he helped us 3 v 4 black forest whilst fighting good players all by himself he taught me eco and to sling in chat hahaha(might've said 'what's a hotkey') I think it was 4 hours in and they surrendered. They were really sulky we didn't quit as a player dropped haha. Viper couldn't push alone from pop difference but my jaw was on the floor with his ability back then. But i could certainly chop wood and build farms!
He enjoyed being awesome we played a few more games and waited for his friend, but then i didn't touch multiplayer much after that haha. Wasn't too shocked to hear he became best in the world.
I don't have a brother but that game it felt like I did. He was the first online player to be nice to me, too. So burned into my memory haha.

I tested this with a friend yesterday in a private game. It works and is hilarious! :D
It needs to be a diplomacy game though. You can only convert from your enemy.

The team game ladder is broken with massive rating inflation.
Pro players would need to play 20/30 times a month on it to remain at the top. They dont. So daut and viper are somewhere between rank 500 and 700.
Ok how about: 4v4 on a Hideout type map (or Donut) double Portuguese pockets, full Feitoria and just 10 vils left to build castles and towers, and full sling some ridiculous unit spamming flank (Goth maybe ?). OR Persian elephants =)
Feitorias are actually not population effective. Vills contribute way more resources. Feitorias actually has its only strengths in late game when gold is rare and your Vills fall to raids.

2k tg is not that high and blue and teal were memeing out too. Dont know how serious the two played. Maybe they were even watching the stream.
That they were able to troll these guys even being 2.3k shows how inflated TG mmr is, not how good secret is, in this case. Its ~500-600 pts higher than it should be.
@@ashmonkey2572 How were blue and teal memeing? Blue delaying Viper and Daut while his ally booms and goes for Khmer Battle Elephants is a solid strategy.
@@canadian__ninja no, it just shows that there's a high number of teamgame players. More players= a higher ELO range.
Pros don't play as many teamgame, so the exclusively teamgame players increase that range if there's a lotta them.
I gotta check AOE2.net on all this to be 100% sure, but that's what logic tells me.

at 2:06 why didn't Viper get the alert of getting attacked? This happened to me a lot of times, DE needs to fix this issue.
Never missed an attack warning on DE. Also, Viper wasn't attacked? That was Daut's scout passing by.
@@Walkop Then you're definitely in the vast minority in that. Because myself, everyone I play with and every pro I watch has complained about it at least once.
Also, he meant when the boar was attacking the villager, but warnings don't play for that.
@@Walkop Viper's vill was attacked by a boar. I have lost vills to boar because of the same reason. This happens sometimes when enemy attacks me as well, I don't get an attack alert when I should.

It is a joke. Viper lost to Mr-Yo in the final of the Redbull tournament recently, and people like to joke that now Yo is the best player and Viper is wached up. People still consider him number one

Why Viper never has any issues when loading/playing this game, but everyone else has lagging/disconnects/freezing issues? Very odd.
