@@Rickmakes I bought new faucet. My plumber told me to take the tube out of it and put in my leaking one. I'm not sure how to get tube out. I took nut off end not sure if tube screws out or just pulls out. Never had experience with these type faucets. It's a Pro Line quarter turn 104-845HC
I put three of these in my new house. Within one year, I turned the water on in one of the spigots, and no water comes out. Called the BK Mueller corporate office and got absolutely no help. They just wanted my email address so they can send me a catalog so I can order repair parts. Why on earth should I have to be fixing a brand new faucet within a year?
Can someone tell me how they removed the stem from the faucet? Mine is leaking and I can take off the handle and unscrew the nut but the stem will only make the 1/4 turn and does not want to be removed. How did you get the stem out?
Did you ever figure out how to remove the stem? I'm having the same issue. Very frustrating that none of the videos I can find show how this particular one is supposed to come apart.
Yeah im having the same issue, noticed water was leaking out the stem when I turn on the water. Removed the screw to the handle but handle won’t come off and removed nut but can’t pull out the stem. Going to try what smoky812 said. Wish me luck lol
I just took the valve stem out of one of those that was not working-no water flow. With the valve stem out I turn the water on briefly to see if I had good flow. I did but a second white cylindrical piece pop from the back Of the flow due to the water pressure. stopped right at the edge of the opening. So I took it out with a pair of pliers examined it as well it had two little blue rings, The smaller one was just slightly not seated. Did not get it to receipt so I put it back in with a blue oh rings facing toward the wall and reassembled-still no water. I didn’t disassembled again and put it all back together leaving the previously described peace out completely. The water now works perfectly. I do not understand what this mystery piece is? Any comments? Thank you
Not sure. I haven't had one of these apart. I've installed a few and never had any problems. I can see the dilemma you are in. Just because it works now doesn't mean it won't start leaking at the worst possible moment. I wonder if there is an exploded view somewhere online. You might also try contacting the manufacturer.
Similar issue, almost identical unit with very little water flow. Was installed 2 years ago and barely used, last used before winter and now after winter very low pressure. I disassembled it and did not see anything that seemed to have failed. Will continue digging to see if I can find a breakdown/diagram of these to help understand what has failed
Trying like heck to find a rebuild kit for this - has anyone found one? I am in the Midwest, and I was only able to find a replacement vacuum breaker at local Menards, but not a full kit. I have three of these on my house and one of them has a very slow leak which is very annoying. Any help is appreciated.
I haven't taken one of these apart yet. I'm guessing it has a ceramic disc or something similar. I've had small leaks on quarter turn sink faucets and I fixed them by applying a thin film of silicone faucet grease (Danco 88693) to the ceramic discs and surfaces they touch. Might be worth a try.
Mine only lasted 2 years. Will not shut off completely. $40.0] FOR NEW ONE.
That's odd. We're you able to take the valve apart to see what was wrong?

Fortunately and unfortunately, I haven't had one of these part.

Back off the first nut, use the handle to turn stem counterclockwise while slightly pulling out

Did it work out? I’m experiencing the same thing, and I can’t find any type of rebuild kit for this brand/model anywhere?

Thanks for the reply.
My sillcock has 42 C20 on the handle, which is a little different than what you show in the video. Do you know how that makes it different?
Flow is terrible compared to most sillcocks
