How cool is this East side of the island?! We love these random adventures out on scooters getting lost and showing a different side to places. PS 'the famous Nusa Penida beach' is in the next video! ► Check out our full travel gear and equipment list here: danegerandstacey.com/our-equipment
Gobsmacked by the scenery and size of those fish that man was hauling up the stairs. I could sit at the top and stare and listen to the water all day, with some drinks..no stairs for me,thanks!
Thanks for the kind words, does suck seeing these low views on videos we hustle so hard for... but thats RUclips :( New vid up in a few hours of the T Rex in Nusa Penida!
Nice vlog, like that you kept things real, not just how amazing everything is. There's some nice remote beaches on the southern end of Lambok that I quite liked.
That one fish alone was almost as big as that guy!!! Were people fishing for those monsters right off the beach? Would have been cool to see them reel one of those in. Love the island vibes!
Definitely would have been cool to see where they caught them! It was seriously impressive seeing them haul those big guys up the stairs, we struggled with out life size fish .
nusa penida Indonesia so beautiful... hope some days I could go there... my country malaysia not so beautiful ...my home only near penang island but sea in penang island very very dirty...
i was so happy watching this Video!!! i was there this summer and miss it so much. it is much more differen compared to bali, also the nature is more Beautiful.. deffinetly coming back to nusa Islands, gilis and bali!!
This was one of my favorite beaches when I visited nusa last year. But just so you know there is a second entrance to the beach where the the palm trees are that way you don’t have to go up the stairs haha (also I don’t think there is a fee if you enter through the second entrance)
Is it the entrance over the other side, like directly opposite from the stairs we came down? That did look a lot easier when I flew the drove over it haha
Yes it’s right next to the field of palm trees. I actually didn’t even know about the stairs until you guys used that entrance haha so good to know for next time
I'm well behind (too many Christmas parties). That beach and cove was amazing. You could watch the sea surging through those rocks all day, I bet. Love the idea of reggae music playing too - it very much formed part of the soundtrack of my youth, in fact we went to see my brother's band playing a gig last night and they feature several reggae classics. Real feel good music1 :) Some awesome camera work in this vlog!
Sounds like you've been living it up large for Christmas, happy to hear that! No complaints for you being a little behind, enjoy your self maaaaaan (Bad reggae voice).
@@DanegerAndStacey You should've helped him! That would've been an amazing experience. Interacting with a local, to find out how he caught it, where he sells it, side tracking from the norm. RUclips is full of Diamond Beach vlogs but none of them helping a local fisherman, if you know what I mean. Love your videos, keep it coming!
@@DanegerAndStacey Hahaha, had to be done 😂😉 Yaaass, 3rd is better than nowhere lol. We sure are! 13 days to go! 3 days left of work for me. Everything is slowly but hectically falling into place. You guys enjoying being back in NZ with the fam? Still must be a change of pace even being back in your home country. How long are you home for? 🌞
@@kerijudith1112 Slowly and hectically falling together sounds very familiar... the closer it gets the harder it gets, the more exciting at the same time? Yup. Been there :P You guys are gonna be all good, such incredible times ahead for you both!
Daneger and Stacey that happened to me me when I walked in the Blue Mountains, Blackheath near Sydney New South Wales. Walking down was a 1 1/2 hour adventure then exploring for 2 hours but the walk back to the Govett's Leap car park did me for the day. The next day my body ached all over. I love the way you vlog in S.E. Asia ,,,Europe was interesting but the Asia videos have something special about them. The sunshine and the natural landscape as against the Colder European cities. Here in Perth we watch each new vlog on the big screen. Much better than the TV selection. Best wishes for the Xmas season.
Damn man, thats a lot of walking, no surprises your body was messed up the next day haha! Makes our 15 minutes of steep stairs sound pretty easy in comparison. We've still not made it to the Blue Mountains, but have heard awesome things about it. Thanks for watching along regardless of where we are, sounds like most people really dig Asia as well but we can't spend all year there sadly :P Merry Xmas as well!
We actually had a bit of trouble with the villa - normally we do a video showing where we stay and the costs and links etc. Not this time, we don't recommend stuff we don't stand behind :)
Guys, ALWAYS use helmets on those motors. My brother and his wife had and accident there, they were driving slow but cat jumped directly on their front wheel. There was no way to avoid this. Helmets saved them. She got horribly broken open hand thou, its 1 year now and she still can't grab anything properly. Use helmets, be safe.
Can completely understand how this can happen - we literally hit a rooster who flew onto the road and panicked. We use helmets everywhere and have mentioned it multiple times in videos for people to 'not try to be cool and wear them', sadly there was no option here on the island we could find at all!
It's a shame that education in the developing world doesn't focus on environmental issues (Recycling/reuse etc). The mentality is similar to eating a meal off a banana leaf back in the day. Throw the banana leaf where ever as it's biodegradable. The same thing doesn't work with plastics, obviously.

Avoiding the stairs would be wise! Just need a Bintang delivery at the top and you're sorted.
Bali beach amazing exotic
The Diamond Beach is raw, rugged and stunning. Love it. Definitely gonna go there if I'm going to Nusa Penida.
Fo sho - its a lot more un touched and real!
the images are breathtaking, especially from the top of those stairs
Thank you guys for a beautiful video and the bloopers were fun at the end
Haha been trying to share a few more of those, theyre fun to look back on

wow...that fish,, nice video 👍👍
You guys are so, so adorable
The place is stunning. I love the sound of the water as you sat beside the road. Yea its such a shame with the rubbish situation.

We really need to vet over to Lombok! Thanks for the comment, we always keep things as real as :)
Wow, Atuh beach looks so beautiful. Should go back to Nusa Penida.
Stunningly beautiful beach!! Great camera shots. 😎👍

the fish the guy is carrying are crazy big
Absolute insanity! Poor guy though, he had 2 and the others in front of him only had 1 and they were struggling!

How were the legs the next day?
Going down is easy, then the return is triple the work out.👌👌👌
Funny actually, everyone seemed to have one sore thigh - must be our dominant legs all aching the day after haha

Do you think its easy to get from the north to diamond beach by motorcycle? Is it ok, or very very hard?
It’s pretty sketchy in places dude, probably easier to get here than it is to the east side tho!
What’s the name of the hotel? Cant find it anywhere in the bio? 😃😃
Didn't include on that one, whoops. We feature it more here and have the links: ruclips.net/video/Z34RbOmBcwM/видео.html

Information how much u rent the scooter and where do u rent the scooter at Nusa Penida?
Check our first Nusa video, we show the whole process and cost
When your explore Mt.Rinjani 😁
Haha we cant even make it up these stairs.
@@DanegerAndStacey just go to Mt Ijen or Mt Bromo in East Java
exactly how many mins from bottom to top did it take you?
It's only 10 minutes or so, just mega steep
How much do we need to pay for the East Nusa Penida Island Tour? I can't seem to find the rates in the internet. It's always the West side. Thank you!
Not sure sorry - we did this whole thing ourselves on scooters!
Yeah, my arthritis couldn't handle up or down on those stairs. :(
At least the view is beautiful from the top then :)
will you go to the other beach too?
Yup - it's amazing!! Next video (in 24 hours) is from there.
