There are earrings made with plastic posts. I can't vouch for them personally since I've never tried them, but I'd say they’re worth looking into if it means you can experience the joy of earrings!

Nisa!!!! I find the secret with wearing necklaces and square necklines is to have the charm fall in the center of the “square” that is formed. Otherwise it looks too busy.

As a fellow jeans hater, I stopped wearing them about 2 years ago. the solutions are flowy trousers, cargos (made from cotton instead of denim), or, continuing the flowy theme, a long billowy skirt. I have never once looked back on my decision to stop wearing jeans. hope this helps my fellow jeans haters
not the "footage not found" for the peplums 😭 i suffer this too bc outside high fashion unwearable clothing i cannot find a peplum shirt that looks good unstylished. They are not criminal in theory, yet sometimes i have to really try to keep defending them to myself, not even to others.

I still remember the first time I had a terrible time shopping for clothes. I was in elementary school and I went back to school shopping with my mom. I tried on so many pairs of jeans that day that didn’t fit comfortably or look right on me and I was so upset. It’s so vivid, I honestly think it was a core memory for me and set the tone for my body image issues to come. I wish I could go tell little me that everyone struggles to find good jeans. My favorite jeans (at least appearance wise) are Levi’s ribcage straight jeans. They must be called that because you’ll break your ribcage if you sit too long while wearing them 😭

I just got my first silk scarf last week and have experience the struggle of the slippage! But have also found that wearing it as a necktie is surprisingly cute, just slight vintagey vibes but I’ve made it work with modern fits, both work clothes and jeans☺️

The only clothing store I get jeans from is White House Black Market. Their sizing is very consistent and good quality. They have petite/normal/tall and curvy sizing. They put a little bit of spandex in it so there's some stretch. They're pricey, but I do think they're worth it (plus they do have sales and stores I've been to had clearance racks).
I am 5'6 and their normal jeans are the perfect length. They specify "ankle" pants when you're buying from the website so you know if they're going to be shorter than normal. They offer detailed garment dimensions and size charts on all items. Everything is washable (that I've bought).
It's a woman-owned company and it shows in the way they tailor their clothes.
And the depths of their pockets are to die for. I can fit my entire phone in my pocket.

Try putting on a velour headband underneath the scarf - make sure the velour gets rough if you brush it towards the back of your head. It'll help a little with the scarf slipping and if you're careful you can even slip a little sewing pin or two through it (though I understand you mightn't wanna do that with a luxury brand vintage scarf)

The segment about jeans was so real, it really is emotional violence having to try them on, there is ALWAYS something that goes wrong, as a slightly chubby “big boned” man, it’s insane the amount of times my day has been ruined because jeans don’t fit or because they feel extremely uncomfortable. and yes, they look too good and classic / casual to just stop wearing. It fkn sucks but I wouldn’t trade it for a theme
crocs are the only shoes that comfortable to stand in for me, i wear them to work everyday (retail). tbh they're my default shoes unless the weather is bad or i actually wanna look cute so ur WRONG they are comfy!!
