They were shot out of a cannon together and his habits included going to seedy sides of town looking for prostitutes and drinking until passing out. Had he not done those two things, I think everything would have been alright. He had some talent, but just needed to stay off the booze.
Was Keith Witley an alcoholic at this point in his career, in other words, if he would have stopped even right after this taping, he could have righted the ship? Or was he also hooked on pills and cocaine? So if he was hooked on the latter two, would that mean if he went completely cold turkey on ALL of it, he could have turned his and Lorrie's life around and they could have been together for eternity? How old would he be on this day, June 4th, 2022? And how old is Lorrie Morgan on this day, June 4th, 2022?
It's my understanding from reading her book,he was addicted to alcohol long before they married,went to rehab for it,sad that like so many others,both before and after that their addiction consumes them
Such a sweet interview. You can see they were in love. Sure wish they would have recorded more duets. Those two are real country music singers.
