In Trainz: A New Era, the trains stop frozen still when they crash or come to where they would derail. There's gotta be a way to change the settings, so when our train crashes, instead of standing still on the tracks, it'll actually run off the tracks, like in Trainz 12 and other Trainz adaptations.
This was one one of my earliest memories of trainz. Still fills me with nostalgia when I see it,

MSTS the old one, when crashes are realistic has the best physics I’ve ever seen, cars don’t merge into each other and they even flip over, and unlike dove tails game, they don’t phase into parts of the ground

An amazingly HUGE GT and CN power move between 4:58 and 5:27. It sadly and finally crashes between 5:42 and 6:04.

no you cant its Trainz 12 and on every Trainz game they have something float above them but if you want a trainz game where the trains ACTUALLY CRASH instead of just sit there don't go beyond Trainz 12

+Pickles RGreat Once you are in the route, go to the upper right hand corner of the screen then find the "Additional Tools Menu" button which should be the third button on the left. Once you click it find the option to "Hide Junction overlays". You can repeat this process for displaying the overlays again too.
