The sims in other worlds can be possessed but they have to eat the fruit and they don’t usually eat them from the plants. You can make strange drinks with one of the packs and serve them up at community lot 😁. Also possessed aliens are creepy!
One of the possessed Sims in my save died, and when she came back as a ghost, she was still possessed and running around like she was terrified. That was creepy.
I recently did StrangerVille storyline and my sim ended up marrying Erwin 😭 But the storyline was awesome and gave me some inspiration for the book I currently write!
Lol the same happened to me except I played out the story line with Alice from this Eclectic Arts household, I think she was meant to end up with him anyway lol
These videos give me the same nostalgia of finding one of many cool things like this in sims 2 and 3 ..although sims 4 doesn’t have many thank you for pointing them out to help me feel something again 😂❤
Personally it's my favorite because of all the weird furniture and clothing options. I use stuff from it ALOT. Like yeah it doesn't add much and the world is tiny but my favorite sims go in strangerville.
Yeah! Unpopular opinion but it might be my favorite pack. I draw so much fanart and I write fanfiction too. I even gave The Mother a name in my fanworks. It’s Venus, because she’s a carnivorous plant, and also because haha space, funny alien plant.
@@jewelthejaguar742 YEAH EXACTLY!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! As fun as a boss fight in the sims is, I only ever did it once. I always opt to befriend her instead. The game provides so many hints to her being a tragic character, I feel so BAD for her. I actually used debug to place her on George’s lot because I think they’d be good for each other tbh. Both weirdos who survived crashes, George with his plane and Venus with the meteorite mentioned in the library books. But yeah, it breaks my heart! For starters, she’s a plant- now, she IS an alien plant, so maybe it’s different for her, but they trapped her underground, deep, deep underground. It’s pretty dark down there, I can’t imagine her being without sunlight is super healthy. I’d like to think possessed sims bring food and water, but she could very well be starving down there. Then the lab itself- her severed limbs can be found on tables. Plants don’t feel pain in the way we do, but they are aware of when they’re being attacked. The smell grass makes when it’s cut is a distress signal. They were mutilating her, and judging by the fact that she’s stuck in a dingy abandoned lab and there are posed sims everywhere, I don’t think they were doing it with her consent. She’s scared, she’s absolutely terrified. And the weather only gets worse when you visit the lab- she knows you’re there. She’s been hurt by sims, and that’s why she’s doing it. The same book that mentions the bright flash (the meteorite crashing) suggests that happened a long time ago, likely before the town was even founded. There was a time when she kept to herself and didn’t cause any kind of chaos, but she was pushed to this. And yet you can still befriend her. She still finds it in herself to trust again, and when she does trust you? You can ask her to use her otherworldly powers to benefit your life and she just- will. Sorry for the essay I just love Venus so much I could cry.
@@megmorgan21411 I never knew the lore behind her, the let’s plays don’t really touch on that part! But yeah I love the setting and I’m a sucker for mysteries so the pack has been on my wish list for a while, so has jungle adventure! Playing as an archaeologist sounds so fun
@@jewelthejaguar742 EXACTLY! No one ever brings it up! They just kill her off and be done with it. I know it makes for a good finale, but she’s such a very complex character under the surface and she means EVERYTHING to me. I’m getting back into my Stangerville phase and I keep getting recommended older videos like this lol. It’s definitely a fun pack! It’s not for everyone, but it’s all I could want. Also Jungle Adventure is super cool! I built a treehouse in the world ages ago because I love the build/buy stuff that comes with it. The skeletons are also super cute, love them. I almost always end up using at least one Jungle Adventure item in my builds- when I’m not trying to limit my dlc lol. I wanna upload more stuff to the gallery, but I’m one of those people who has nearly every single pack just because I can. Since I first got the game in like- 2014 or 15, I’ve been keeping up. I’ve had periods where I don’t play it at all for awhile, but Sims, especially Sims4 is such a special interest for me. I’d love to upload videos of me building or creating sims one day, but I’m so shy lmao.
@@grungebruxa You can get the scared emotion with the monster under the bed which is a base game feature. You cab also get scared by ghosts possessing objects.
a possesed sim in their wandering state can plant the fruit anywhere, you don't have to have it in your inventory, but the dirt pile bug kinda kills is..
I’m playing the Strangerville story with my vampire sim who found a cure for the possessed people and I’ve tried to get her to drink from possessed sims but there was never an option until AFTER I give them the vaccine. NEVER before. Maybe that’s just my game though. I also can’t buy wands at that shop in Realm of Magic. Only produce is available.
The sim stopping to do pushups while you're talking about the plants is the most sims thing ever
Erwin, the premade curio shop employe (probably owner) when bugged by our sim makes a point he's aware that he's bugged.
I asked a dust bunny to find a gift for me and they brought me back one of the strangerville plant buds 😭😭

you can use the fruit in the eco lifestyle juicer

I wish all packs worked together that would be great @sims4
U can make bizzare drinks of the bizzare fruit with eco living. Every sim who drink this will be loving by mother
You got me this time. I didn't know any of these. But i love these details.

She literally make sims 4 look good & I actually want to play the game after her videos😅
Strangerville has to be one of the MOST controversial packs…
Yes! I absolutely love the world and really enjoyed the storyline, so it’s a yes from me!
I think Journey to Batuu might top strangerville on that list.

@@megmorgan21411 wow, that’s super genius because Venus aka Aphrodite is also associated with motherhood!! Cool shit bro!!

Lets see a Strangerville possessed Vampire speed run..
Your account is super helpful
Fun Fact: Strangerville is the only pack that adds a new emotion.
I thought they introduced the scared emotion with the Paranormal Stuff pack?

@@InstructionManual8 oh ok thanks for clarifying!
If you advance the storyline and talk to the mother plant, you can befriend it and it will grant you wishes
I like Strangetown from the Sims 2 but I hate Strengerville in the Sims 4.
Strangetown from TS2 is epic!
