    These are basic eight animal postures in the practise of martial art Kalaripayattu. Ashta means 'eight' and 'Vadivu' means postures. The Ashta Vadivu integrates all categories of body exercises that requires focus, concentration and balance. The regular practise of Ashta Vadivu results in improved stamina, flexibility, grace & good breath control.
