Polly being a little indoor floor chicken is both sad (because she's been ostracized by the other chickens) but also adorable (because she just hangs out with the humans and the rats and the chinchillas all day) 😊I hope all the animals and humans of Alveus had a wonderful holiday season, and I will never tire of seeing the parrots and their 4 incredibly distinct personalities! Siren being a sneaky little floor-thief is so on brand for her though 😂

My husky ate a rat that had been poisoned once. We almost lost her, luckily we caught it in time and she's fine now.

i know its unlikely that maya will see this, but rats are fossoral and hugely benefit from digging. they also dont do great on wire floors like they are. it would be amazing if they could be given a base with bedding in so they can dig.

Those birds are adorable. I had buddies with birds growing up and I could already tell they would be high stress creatures that would not only be stressed out by me but also that I would be stressed out trying to keep them less stressed lol. So yeah wouldn't want one but man they are neat. I'll stick to my aquariums, reptiles and cat.
