Even though they look scarier, as a rule I have found that the bigger the beak the less biting force they actually tend to impart as compared to those shorter sharper beaks. For parrots. Do not go putting fingys near any birds of prey.
About snake skin, it stretches when they are coming out of it so it is not a good way to measure them for their exact size but it is still a cool way to see how much bigger they have gotten since you first had them.

I remember when I was in elementary school we went to the Insectarium, and for whatever reason some guy working there decided to put a disgusting insect in the palm of my hand even though I said I couldn't handle it. He was like "sure you can, you'll see". They had to shut down the place for hours because the insect escaped containment after I violently shook it off my hand. 😂 I mean what were they expecting? I thought the outcome was very predictable personally.
