Well, when I don't find much to buy in stores, I repeat to myself "okay, quality over quantity" in order to appease the compulsive buyer in me.. Now having said that, even in your driest "dry hunt" videos, I always see stuff on the pegs which makes me salivate (like that dark blue Plymouth Hot Wheels truck, which is the kind of thing I cannot find over here..). So keep on keeping on, as Walter (the hotline of diecast) would say, as even your driest hunts make my day !
Yep. I do not forget how fortunate I am for what I HAVE found and how furtunate I am to have money to spend on my hobby at this point in time. Usually, when I don’t spend money in stores I look in the aftermarket. I need to start making videos about my aftermarket finds……
I have many hunt days like this,I don't bother filming if I don't find anything good,love that dirty Civic though,we don't get JL here,I woulda picked up that dirty Civic,nice pickups,good luck on your next hunt 👍😎💯
Fo’reelz. I have only made 3 hunting videos in May so far because I haven’t found enough to film. I do hunt 10-20 stores weekly though. I thought about getting the dirty civic, the green Chevy truck at Hobby lobby, and a few cars at Kroger, but I figured I would save my money for cars I want more.
Awesome hunt video man hopefully you find the new motor show five pack soon hobby lobby had a cool C10 pickup but I passed on it too keep up the good work it's a grind just remember we cannot always win when we go hunting for new Hot Wheels😊 still waiting on the Kroger's exclusive to hit our local grocery stores they have not hit yet so I can get that outlaw mail-in rebate Porsche.😊
It’s definitely a grind to do hunt videos. I hunt way more than I film that’s for sure. I’ve been trying to introduce other content on my channel for those days when I didn’t find anything to make hunt videos. I don’t know what’s up with those Kroger shippers some places around here got them a month ago and some other places are just getting them I hope you find yours.
Good question. I gave my monster truck collection to toys for tots in December 2023. They were taking up too much space, I keep my gold car collection in hobby lobby cases and the gold monster truck wouldn’t fit anyways
Oh, probably because in the video, I cubby holed them in my wall display that I took off the wall and put on my table to make a better background shot of all the cars. My gold cars are all in Hobby lobby boxes right now till I come up with a better idea . I do like your idea, though. If I built a wall display with a clear dust cover over it I could make some of the slots larger for monster trucks. Right now the only thing I have on my wall is the shelves behind me in my afterthoughts videos, but I use that for my weekly hunted cars and change them out with each month.
1:14 VS RX7 *** and why not ? id say that was a good two pacl. i opened the ones out of box @ Walmart local to me, but they were different combinations. s2k & jetta, s2k & 95 integra... i left both will pick them up on a later hunt, was hunting other premiums and blvds
Oh man! I would love to see the Jetta and Integra. Veil side Rx7, yes. I think I called it a S 2000 lol. Yeah just wanted the civic the RX seven. I think something was lost in translation. Turning it into a scale model. It doesn’t have enough detail for me.
