A sinister villainous groove with a hopeful heroic groove in the later half, I totally love it! Good use of Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart soundfonts by the way.
this track is so unique yet so classic and filled with finality. if there were a true final mario game that was retro styled, i feel like this would be it!
This track really takes out the danger and replaces it with the dancefloor!! This rocks a ton, I will have this looping in my head and my watch history for awhile
god i have to say, your stuff makes me REALLY tempted to pick up chiptune, but the tracker programs intimidate me so much lmao. however you always make whatever sound set you’re working with shine so bright and funk so hard with your composition and arrangement and it’s an inspiration
@@GDRhythmic i have definitely considered that (i have a character from a toby fox game as my avatar after all) and i think it’ll def be a good entry point for me to make VGM-y stuff and focus on making stuff that sounds good instead of wrangling a tracker program at first :D
Another amazing track as always. I can’t help but imagine an image of a group of adventurers storming a villain’s base taking out minions in various ways and facing off against the villains while listening to this.
you probably hear that enough already but your work is just phenomenal and there is no way to overstate that, I recently have gone through all of your tracks and decided to select a few and make a ressorce-musicpack out it for terraria since I think Id fit perfectly and thats just how much I love your stuff xd, so Id like to ask you for permission to upload it on to the terraria workshop, youll obviously will be fully credited and Ill link your channel in the description. anyway Ill hope you keep up the amazing stuff and stay creative! 👍
reason why was that when my phone was confiscated i finally took the step to transition to furnace. used to work on df mobile a lot but furnace has a lot more variety so i get to do whatever the hell i could want with it
How do you develop your chord progressions and key changes? Does it all stem from the melody lines? I love how tight the bass and perc is. Astonishing progressive track. Mind blowing.
yeah it's mostly from the melody. i record melodies solo a lot and have them imply chord progs at the bottom, if it doesn't work out i just figure it out with the rest of the parts
@@johntayjinf It was mostly the bassline in the beginning. Either way, great job! I really liked the clever use of the SMW sounds, I'm not usually a fan of them but I think you put them to great use here!

Nailed the spooky vibe with the new Bowser Castle intro.
Ooh!
It's even got the whole "evil" version of the main theme thing goin'!
Like in the original Mario World tunes. Neat!
keep me locked up in this fortress
Bowser's castle went from "stay out" to "enjoy your stay"
This beat is actually insane, I love seeing how far people can take SNES soundbanks. Amazing job.
rolling down in this FORTRESS.
This is wonderful! I'm a huge fan of the build-up that starts at 2:41

try out deflemask
despite being a program with some questionable limitations, it still kinda helped me get a gist of how tracker UI works

ooooh a funky tune using the smw soundfont erm YUM YUM YES PLEASE
might need this ported for smw hacking asap
