You got an excellent combo. Same as I will have when I get the 210. It’s a bummer these have gone up so much in price, the Garage Pack used to be $1999, you essentially got the TIG and paid half price for the MIG which is insane! Lincoln had these priced right and now they’re just too expensive for most folks. The one thing most folks don’t realize is the 210 is lift/scratch start only for TIG and will not weld aluminum unless you get a spool gun. Takes some digging to find that info. Enjoy!
Sam, I'm a total noob to welding myself. But I bought that MP 210 a few years back for about $1500 (without the tig gun and pedal). I had it hooked to 120 while I practiced and was tripping the breaker continuously. I had my electrician run a sub panel to my shop and he set up a 240v drop and I never tripped again. I did stick and flux core mig. Now I just need a gas bottle and I can start doing mig with thinner metals. Enjoy your new toys.
Ah that’s great to hear! I used to have an electric water heater in my shop so I lucked out with having 240v available! I think I’m going to start with MIG and my goal is to make another cart out of metal 😃

I love it! I've used it quite a bit and been happy. Only thing I dont love is the coupler that attaches the foot pedal. It has two threaded joints and I accidently unscrewed the wrong one when I was tearing the machine down and pulled the wires out of the plug 😢 now i either need a new one or need to try to solder it back together
Really on the fence of buying this because of motherboard failures but ill bite the bullet and wish i dont end up getting a lemon.. hope you'll fix your welder soon. Cheers
