I call BS! Holidays, whether it's Memorial Day or July 4th, the city always emptied out. That's the best part and why my friends and I would go to certain restaurants that were always way tooo crowded and loud. Or just walk about looking at store windows.

This is just silly. Because July 4th landed on a Tuesday this year, many people took a long weekend or started their vacations. Both the President and VP of my company are on vacation. This is why the subways were surprisingly packed on Wednesday morning. People came back after the holiday.
