This video is very different from my usual content but it is something that is near and dear to my heart. The number one place I wanted to visit when I returned to Los Angeles was The Gentle Barn. Everyone who knows me knows my love for all creatures big and small. Animals are such beautiful loving beings that always fill my heart with love and can always bring an instant smile to my face. I wanted to share this animal sanctuary that is a safe space for these beautiful beings and also show you why I’m vegan. I hope you enjoy this video and feel all the love through the screen. Sam, thank you for this beautiful video. I have watched it twice now and cried both times. My husband and I been vegan for over 15 years now and our only 'regret' is not becoming vegan sooner. While I have not visited Gentle Barn, I have been to farmed animal sanctuaries here on the east coast ( Farm Sanctuary in NY and Indraloka in PA) I know first hand the power they have in changing hearts and minds about animals. It is always a magical and very spiritual place to spend time. I hope that their time there help to open the hearts of your family to adopt a vegan lifestyle
Oh my goodness, thank you Joan. I got teary eyed multiple times throughout the day shooting it. You are so right, it’s a very spiritual experience and I wish more people would visit to really connect with these beautiful creatures and see that they’re just like us… in my opinion better than us ( they have the biggest hearts) and they deserve to live out their lives. I really hope my family connect the dots and transition to a vegan lifestyle but I’ve realized I can only do so much, when it clicks it’ll click. I wish it clicked for me a lot sooner. Thank you for your big and loving heart and I will definitely try and share more of my vegan lifestyle on my channel.

Oh my goodness, I’m so so sorry to hear about the passing of your baby. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. Take the time to heal and know your baby is still there with you every step of the way, if you look out for them they’ll show you signs. I hope one day they will have one in your state, it’s such a magical experience. Sending all my love❤️

hello, sam! i have a quick question for you. do you know if taking a french course online, (like the one you mentioned in your previous videos ) would be valid for the requirements for the carte sejour. Based on my test i need to complete 100hrs. I havent been able to start a french class through OFFI for personal matters. anything you know would be so helpful!! thank you
Hi Antoine. Unfortunately the Lingoda classes wouldn’t be valid as far as I’m concerned. I believe you have to take the classes that OFFI provides and after 50hrs you will take a test if you pass it you get your certificate that you provide to the prefecture. If you don’t pass you continue the other 50hrs. Hope this helps☺️
