Thanks this is the best video on tying with marabou I have seen. I probably spend more time and money making lures and jigs but it makes me feel good to tie a fly or a jig and catch fish with it.
Using all these tips for the Bou has helped in all the right ways.🎣 The Music chosen is to be questioned for a fishing anything video….. Using all these tips and “location specific” nuisance in EXTREMELY PRESSURED waters……has resulted inside some fatty Largemouth in southern comifornia Great info fellas thanks for the up-load. 🤙😎 🔥 🎣🐛🐜🦟🐞🎣✅✅
i dont mean to be off topic but does someone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my login password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
@Marlon Adam I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Question...(new to jig tying) ...Why do some tie in a Marabou feather by securing the tip with a couple of wraps and then actually wrapping the feather back while still connected to the stem towards the hook point? Is this just an easier way of tying compared to the technique you show?
Palmering the marabou whereby you tie in the marabou tip then wrap the feather back up the hook shank. The reason i tie this way is the marabou moves better in the water especially when the feathers flare in the water.

Thanks so much you saved my account!
@Rocco Declan you are welcome =)
Either tip of removing the material was very helpful for me! Thx guys!
Great job fellas! I’ve been tying some this week and they’re a disaster lol. I need more practice!
OK, so I've watched this a dozen times. When you separate the "good 'bou" what is good, vs bad? I need to learn.
The bad is the curly fluffy feathers at the bottom of the plume
