Caitlin, you have left such kind comments on my IG and Videos recently and your kindness urged me to find out more about you. As soon as i saw you had a channel I subscribed to watch you. I just have to say: you have a most kind, most sincere heart that just shines from your eyes. We share many things in common - did you know that? Nativities, series of any kind, reading… I’m moving on to Video 2. And “help someone feel seen today” what a wonderful sentiment ❤
Thank you so much, Vonna! We do have many shared interests - maybe it's why I enjoy your content so much 💜 Thank you for watching and for your support! ☺
Congrats on your first floss tube, you are off to a fabulous start! Have fun at StitchCon, it is on my bucket list. Looking forward to your next video!
Caitlin! How did i miss you had a floss tube? Loved it when you said you were a data nerd. Me too. Can’t wait to watch your other videos and enjoy your spreading of kindness
On the block party I would stitch the rest on another fabric you like that compliments the fabric you don’t like. You could then use the top you already stitched. I would use the same count fabric. Remember there are no stitch police and no one says you have to use the same fabric for the entire project. Enjoy your Flosstube.
Very nice first video. Life is too short to stitch on a fabric you don’t enjoy. Switch and GO! Looking forward to your next Floss Tube. Congratulations!
Hi Caitlin! I love your video and your stitching. I met you at the DVHSG spring retreat. So nice to see you here. I look forward to watching your next video! Congrats!
Congratulations on a wonderful first Flosstube! I love all of your nativity and manger projects! I was shocked by the size of the manger ornament - I thought it would be an actual tree ornament and boy was I wrong! haha
On October 17th, maybe you could organize a trade ? Choose a new linen you would rather have it on and ask someone to restitch the top for you and trade tips + enough linen to finish the project ? Thank you so much for sharing....such a great first flosstube. Looking forward to many more. Happy Stitching -Kimberly
My daughter just moved to DE. You are a natural in front of the camera. I would cut my losses on the block. Finish what you did into something to enjoy and restart on fabric you love! Life is too short to struggle with our hobby!

Love your first video! I collect Nativity charts, too. I try to stitch one per year, but I don’t always accomplish that. I stitch the Nativity Row and al working on the Stoney Creek one. I have some other various ones completed, too! I like your Monticello chart, so I might have to try to find that one. I love baby stories, so if you ever want to share your miracle story, I will listen 🥰🥰. Congratulations on your daughter 💕💕.
Hello! Frizzie Lizzie Stitches sent me lol. thanks for sharing your stitching with us. Enjoyed it very much. On the " I hate this linen" project, there's one thing I would try if the item were mine. Faultless Magic Light Hold (Sizing). It's a very mild spray starch. It's also hard to find at a normal price online. It seems to be carried more in small hardware stores, but Walmarts in the south have it. IDK. Anyway. I would cover the stitched area with a cloth, and spray a part of the unstitched area. If, after it dries, you like how it feels, do the rest. If it doesn't have the right feel, then maybe have a friend adopt this project. It's clear it is not bringing you joy. Powering through ... idk, I think life is too short. best wishes!
Thank you for watching and coming over from Elizabeth's channel! ☺ That is a great suggestion with the spray starch! Life IS too short - you're right. Have a great week!

You’re a natural. Enjoyed your video. Found you by searching WIP parade because I enjoy those. My favorite color is green and the stocking stitches are new to me too and I purchased pattern book and have stitched the first 2. I am a long time quilter and have cross stitched for about 4 years
Congratulations on a terrific, entertaining, and informative flosstube! I immediately subscribed and hit the notification button. Great first video! It is very apparent that you love this craft/hobby. I enjoy seeing and hearing your enthusiasm in what you stitch. Looking forward to video #2. Keep smiling….it’s contagious 😃
Great video, enjoyed seeing all of your projects! You have to be happy with your stitching. If the fabric is annoying you, change it. I’ve been restarting some due to fabric.

Yes! That shop is the best 😃 I lived in Independence, IA when I first really got back into stitching, and the days I traveled to Osage were some of my favorites 😍 Thanks for watching!
Hello Caitlin. I turned on uTube this morning and there you were. Congratulations on doing your first video. You did a wonderful job. Can’t wait to see more. You are so right…even one stitch is more than you had. So glad I found you.
Thoroughly enjoyed your first video. You did an excellent job. I look forward to your future videos. I love the I Heard The Bells on 40ct with two strands. It is beautiful. Happy Stitching!
I to bought even weave from Joann’s. After I stitched about an 1/8 of chart I realized it was not a true “even” weave. I feel your pain. I’ll restart it sometime. great flosstube!
Hey Caitlin! Congratulations on your first floss tube! I’m one of the Beths that sat at your table at the Salty Yarns retreat. Loved seeing all your WIPS and look forward to your next video and to hear about Stitchcon.
Your first video was a great success. I love everything you are stitching and am looking forward to seeing more. I have an aunt who was a pig farmer as well! I always had the best times out there during summer vacations.

I just found your flosstube and really enjoyed it as we have some similarities! I live in Iowa, the closest needlwork shop is The Stitchery Nook, about an hour away from me and Silver Creek Samplers Christmas List and Bent Creek's Nativity are on my wish list! I used to only buy kits from Wal Mart as well, my Grandma started me stitching and walking into The Stitchery Nook my brain exploded lol! Right now I am working on Stitchrovia's This Kitchen is Made for Dancing and trying to patiently wait to start My Little Minnow by Autumn Creek and Tea Rex by Silver Creek Samplers (which I just picked up Tea Rex and got it all kitted up at The Stitchery Nook on Friday!). Looking forward to watching more of your videos
We have so much in common! The Stitchery Nook is one of my all-time favorite shops. I was living in Independence, IA when I really fell back into cross stitching, and my first trip to that shop was like a dream. Liz and Sherry are the best, and I miss shopping there in person. Thank you so much for watching, Heidi, and enjoy those new starts 😍
@@stitchreadrepeat Lol and in continuing to watch your video realizing how much we really do have in common! My husband's family is from Bucks County, PA and I've been out there twice for family reunions. Independence, Iowa is only an hour and a half from me! Too bad you aren't living there yet! Wishing I could visit The Stitchery Nook more often but my bank wouldn't like that either lol! Loving all your wips and you're making my wish list longer lol!
