A quick tip about Frustration, and what I do... Everytime you get a shadow pokemon, check the IVs and determine whether or not the Pokémon is usable. If it is, tag it "Frustration" so when these Rocket events come up, you're ready to TM Frustration from your Pokémon. It's much easier than going thru every Shadow Pokémon every time.

With the incoming surge of Team GO Rocket grunts, I wanna share a tip for evolving Charcadet and Primeape: As one of them is your buddy, if you find the right grunts, go ahead and battle them, but back out after you’ve beaten their second Pokémon. Those defeated Pokémon will go towards the counter of the defeated types necessary for your Pokémon to evolve. Simply repeat defeating those first two Pokémon until you have maxed out your Charcadet/Primeape’s counter. I tested it out this morning, and evolved Charcadet into Ceruledge, it totally works.

Type in @frus in your Pokémon storage, go to the Pokémon you want to take frustration from, select change Charge move with your charge tm. It’s tedious as you can only do the one at a time but worth it.

I feel like niantic is lacking on these event days because the second day of shadow mewtwo raids is during Easter Sunday super annoying cause I love my family! 😂😂😂
8:54 if you want a better way to remove them, firstly go to your shadow pokemon you have right now and find which ones you want to remove the move for. Name them, star them, whatever. Next go to your items (during the event) and click on the charged TM, THEN do the @frustration code. You will have a lot less button clicking and it will speed up the process by a lot. For every shadow you TM, it will take them out of this pool so you don't have to worry about double clicking a move for, as well as not having to hit the pokemon, hit the bring up the items menu, hit item button, scroll, then hit a TM, then confirm. You'll just have to hit the pokemon and confirm you want to remove the move.
Yesterday I caught the hundo shiny shadow mewtwo on my SPARE ACCOUNT of course. Then did a raid with three people and everyone got shinies. Mine was 15/8/15.
I think a better mega to use (at least if you plan to raid Mew2 this weekend) is Mega Rayquaza. Still able to get XLs for the most important event spawns (i.e., Vullaby, Deino, Inkay, Murkrow), but also covers Mew2.
Thanks for keeping it real by saying the paid research isn't worth it, as it really isn't. Also people need to hear Sableye is good for stardust, and that it's not worth grinding 12km eggs. Keep up the great work!
Might be a good idea to include buddying a Pancham. They need 32 dark type catches to evolve. Perfect for this event. I evolved my hundo and 98% that I got in eggs.

It’s so annoying that shadow raid have to be done local, where I live it’s so empty nobody plays and even travelling to raids can take forever, I get why they lock it to local but I wish there was a way to do some sort or remote. Mewtwo is the only pokemon I need to complete the kanto Pokédex as well
Got a near perfect shadow Machop back in 22. I didnt understand shadow stuff well, and was greedy for the hundo so i purified it. Still strong and good, but dang, i wish i could undo it lol

Question about stacking super rocket radars (I’m saving up to use them all for rayquaza)- the last special research to give a super rocket radar was timeless travels, which I’m on page 7 of, because it was released in stages last season and was not clear from the beginning that it would give a super rocket radar. Anyone know if it’s going to prevent me from getting the new research since I went past page 1?
Great question. I didn’t chance it and didn’t go past page 1. However, in previous research in which it was released in stages and then a rocket event happened it didn’t prevent you from getting the rocket since it’s a different type of research. Hopefully it’s the same case this time around. So long as you don’t have a Rocket event still being worked on you should get the new one since you can’t have more than 1 at a time.

Where did you get your odds for shiny Zorua? I’m pretty sure it’s off. I have caught over 1000 zorua with my 2 accounts and only 1 shiny. And people are telling me that they’ve caught hundreds and no shiny

Just remember to save your Shadow Mewtwo for lucky trades if possible. Especially for shiny shadow Mewtwo and do a lucky mirror trade. So you can have a shiny Purified-Lucky Mewtwo. That is all.

How many times can we battle Giovanni? I came back after a couple years and was confused why I was able to battle him 4 times in February. Kept defeating leaders and getting Giovanni 3 additional times. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th times were really low IV Shadow Kyogres. 1st time was a weather boosted hundo. Should have stopped then, eh?
There are still grunts that don't have available shinies but they return machop to the leader list instead of debuting 3 like they lead us on to believe all this time
Something I'm giving pause to. I don't think shadow Rayquaza will come RIGHT after Groudon...I think we might be able to get a few back to stack for it. TIP: To face Groudon, use Togekiss. It is immune to ALL Groudon's fast moves and resists Earthquake, Solarbeam, but not Fire Blast.
Pro tip here honestly. Guaranteed a lot of people are gonna over-complicate this fight with how much of a beast Shadow Groudon will be.
