Hi it is possible to make double the yeast measurement to shorten the time of proffing the dough? And cannot affected the taste of fatayer..thank u im waiting your reply..
I'd rather not advice that because whenever you increase the ratio of yeast, obviously you will notice that in taste as well as in smell. So what you can do is that put the dough in warm (NOT HOT ) oven or place a glass of boiling water in microwave which makes the inside hot and humid , then place your dough in there. It'd definitely speed up the process. I usually do microwave trick when im in hurry and in 25-30 mins dough is properly proofed (sometimes earlier). Hope this helps ❤️
Yes you can! but texture would be different from bread flour bread. It would be less chewy and elastic. But definitely you can and try to use AP flour which has protein content more than 10g, then there will be less difference in texture. You can bake stuffed bread with this dough, small buns or rolls but not big sandwich bread loaf. I'll upload the recipe for that later insha Allah. Yea you can substitute whole wheat flour instead of bread flour but add more liquid because it absorbs more liquid. So your liquid ratios will be 220g water, 220g milk and 60g Oil. Shazia, in baking if you want best and consistent results then you must weigh your ingredients with kitchen scale. Can you freeze the dough?
yes you can and when you wish to bake, thaw on the counter and then proof one more time and then proceed with your filling. Hope that helps X
Can I use this dough for pizza?
Yes you can, but base will be then too soft. If you like soft bases then surely you can use but if you like crispy base then this dough is not right.
