They weren't added with this patch. You could always carry them. The new patch enabled custom loadouts so you can carry 3 Bs and 2 Cs. Before you could only pick 5 Bs or 2 Cs
Take a friend (if you have any) and go into a custom battle and have them run around while you practice on them. Its how i helped my friend. Also try to learn how to Dumb-Fire them too. I use Bullpups on my F-5C all the time and i love it so much. Im a monster with them Guided or Dumb-Fired. Longest launch ive done so far guided was around 4.5-5km away, it feels really satisfying and takes a good amount of skill
Bro every plane can kill tanks. Tanks have 0 counter play. All a plane needs to do is sneak up drop bombs and free kill or lock on with rockets from the moon and the tank can’t do shit about it

You can actually carry 1 walleye to use it as a targeting pod for any AGM-12, its much easier to see through the walleye's monochrome display. And since you've asked, the 2S38 is named "Derivatsiya" - derivation (which is a dumb name imo)
tbh i think the biggest reason cas at low-mid tier is manageable is because there is more aa available, and because american pilots are equivalent to german tankers

The A-4E is quite a respectable fighter for its BR, assuming you have it fully upgraded. Once you learn to manage its poor energy retention and conserve your ammo it can be like a slightly worse MiG-15 with flares and AIM-9B. Not good for every situation, but still capable.
What's better is taking at the AGM-62 walleye in combination with the smaller bullpups and using it as an optic to make guiding the bullpups easier, and you also get that fire-and-forget option for taking out SPAA.
Another reason why seperate BR is needed, for 8.7 this plane is like ypu said is kinda bad at air fighting, but 5 bullpup and know with walleye at 8.7 that can go lower is to much
A4 is 9.7 now who did war thunder change the whole battle rating on a whole lot of tanks everything was perfect until they started changing br for every vehicle
I'm...not sure if that thumbnail was meant to be as deceptive as it was or not?: there have actually been a couple things meant to be carried by planes like this that were close to being _that_ big in relation to the plane, like fuel-air bombs for the F4. turns out you can stick some pretty silly things on a fighter as long as you don't need it to function as a fighter while it is carrying the thing because almost any plane meant to function as a fighter is going to have a LOT of spare power and lift to go around, often to the point of technically having a carrying capacity of more than the weight of the plane ("technically" because there wouldn't necessarily be a way to attach that much weight to the plane).
Just so you know, the BMP 2M has tracking radar now. with a lead indicator. that you can use the missiles with. I do not know if this was always a thing, but it is now.

Hey oddbawZ a tip for using cas with bullpups, replace one of the big bullpups with a walleye, use the guided bomb sight as a zcoper for guiding ur bullpups from a far distancr
Wow those self guiding missiles are OP… and you make it look so easy. And at 8.7, you have 5 self homing rockets with a CNN gun. At 8.7! My Mig21 has only like 2 normal rockets with no CNN gun and its 10.0.
Think i've mentioned it before but the bullpups are literally a modification kit stuck to a regular GP Bomb, i belive the C's are a 1000lb bomb with a kit. They did i belive go all the way upto the 2000lb bomb though.
The DCA tracers aren't desynct. It shoots tracerless apds along with the regular HE rounds, but the apds has different ballistics, so it looks like the DCA is nowhere near the target, but you get hit.
They’re desync’d the same as the Falcon. That’s why you don’t see the stream of bullets in a nice smooth curve. It’s always a straight stream that doesn’t move analogue. It’ll get the same update as the more popular SPAA soon.

On the subject of hit boxes... They're pretty wild right now. Several times recently I've had clear line of sight over or around a piece of cover and I've hit the cover itself... I suppose with it happening across the board it's still balanced but.... Annoying... Great video Odd

There needs to be a limit on how many planes can be in the air at once, like battlefield, enlisted, etc. Spawn points don't really matter when your average CAS player is good enough at ground to get 1-1.5k sp easily
I kinda like how it works in Enlisted, but sometimes you get a guy that is just doing sightseeing or something, they never do anything but also stay alive

They werent added with the patch, theyve always been there. Theyre from what i remember theyre anti ship bullpups, you used to be able to carry only 2 only. What they added was the ability to take 5 of them.

Another reason the plane is so expensive is because you also have ground belts selected for the 20mm cannons, which add an extra 158 sp

U can carry 2 walleyes instead of the big bullpups and use them as targeting pods, once u run out of bullpups u can drop the bombs on targets
If you put on a walleye you can use it as a scope, it’s pretty neat for longer range shots and night battles

Ground belts add 158 extra SP to the plane if you want it to be cheaper.
Actually the C was on the skyhawk before, but you could only carry 2. The custom loadouts just fixed that
