There is nothing like herkimer diamond, diamond is diamond, herkimer is herkimer what you hold in your hand it is called quartz crystal in Africa

Its also a quartz crystal in America, it takes the name herkimer diamond due to the location it's found along with the double terminations that make it look like a diamond
