    An amazing find of a truly beautiful piece. 👍
    Got to mention though: they pressure wash the thing in a warehouse, covering everything in sight with mud, and THEN they take it outside? 🤔

      The small fragments are collected from the floor and the weather swings a lot there so it helps keep them from shocking with temperatures after being uncovered.

    Pressure washing inside the shop 🤦‍♂️. Now all that mud is all over the other crystal on the tables.
    Just weld some angle iron together to make a table top with medal grates. Outside table that can hold over a couple thousand ponds of weight.

    If a paying customer were to discover and mine that cluster, how much would Avant charge them for it?

    • @AvantMining
      @AvantMining  Год назад

      When you book a private dig, you set a budget for the dig with us in advance. When you dig the pocket, you collect specimens until the wholesale value of what you've collected reaches your budget ceiling - if you find a spectacular piece such as this, it would be offered to you at wholesale (you would also have the option of declining the purchase). Essentially you're shopping at wholesale in a pocket of crystals with the incredible, once in a lifetime value-added experience of mining the crystals yourself.

      Quartz is such an underrated stone I think. Perhaps because it's so common but it has to be my favourite. I have a huge collection of clusters and geodes. Many I've found myself just from walks.
      As much as I would LOVE to own a piece as magnificent as that, I think I would get more joy from discovering it than buying it. It's just so darn big! But I'm guessing it would be cut down into smaller pieces for sale?
      I can't even imagine how much that piece would sell for as a whole!
