I teared up at the scene when both the boys were having mother issues and when the shooting star went by the girl started to wave at the sky at her mother. The look on the guys when they realised that they at least had a living mother was touching.
I loved Jianjian, she had such a sweet innocent outlook on life. She was a little immature for her age, but somehow that felt like the normal thing to happen as often we hear in families the youngest child is somewhat spoiled...not just the parents but the older siblings and in this case is was true ..they both spoiled her. :)

@@Surftouka Jian Jian is a character that was admirable. Her innocence and her cheerful personality that cheers up people. When she was young you could see she was immature - as a high school student should be-but she still had a way with words that would make people not get mad at her or be sad from her. When she grew up and was 25 she became very mature and I admired her maturity but she still had her immature moments. Her innocence and her look at life changed but also stayed the same on some points as we see her through the separation from her brothers. She knows life is hard but she still finds the good. She is also very patient especially with the boyfriend of that senior. She still has a way of words when she is 25 years old with her innocence and cheerful personality that makes her friends and family forgive her or smile. I love her character one of the unique characters out there that literally the actress gave life to.
I cried a lot in the scene where li dad gets drunk and talks about the boys ... 😭😭😭

This drama is one of best thing that happened during this pandemic. This drama is sooo good. It had me crying, laughing, giddy. It was everything. It was so relatable.😭😭😭 You guys better watch this if you haven't. Highly recommended Cdrama.

Ling Xiao : his mom pursue him to live together, bcz her husband was died. So she needs man beside her to help her life. From my prescription, actually his mom didn't care of him which means she's really selfish, she don't want her x-husband life happily. Im little bit mad why the director make his mom finally know all her mistakes to Ling Xiao in last episode 😁
He Ziqui : Her father need heir with offering him to study abroad so that Ziqui has good future & didn't make any problem to Li Haichao. But so sad, if Ziqui want his money, he should be leave Li Haichao, that's why he more prefer to doing part time job that accept his dad money.

The best drama of 2020. The emotions are just so real. I’ve cried non stop, laughed so much, & just felt like I could relate to the drama about how people move further apart after moving away and don’t have much to talk about. But once they’re back together they don’t have such a distance anymore.
You and me both! This drama brought our a full range of emotions, but crying was #1! Often something sad, but sometimes happiness tears... like the happy dance Ziqui did telling the others how he didn't get wet in rain because his mom was there with umbrella. I was so happy for Ziqui, I cried.
@@Surftouka omg! During the show I felt the worse for ziqui, I was always sad at the fact that he always felt that he owed Jianjian and her father. Although they never asked for it, he had an empty heart; and especially when jianjian chose her elder brother over him, it broke my heart when he said “why is everyone leaving me alone?” 💔💔💔💔 but I love the show. It was amazing. The story is just amazing ❤️ I haven’t seen a good show in a longggg time.
@@summera8613 oh I know that one scene broke my heart. I think they both felt they owed Jianjian and her dad because when Ling's mom first came back... forgot what she said but something critical about the family and he told her not to judge and also said he planned on taking care of dad Li when he was old... letting her know he's committed. Ziqui also at one point mentioned he'd always be there to take care of dad Li, they both planned to take care of Jianjian as well. Ziqui loved LJJ like a brother, wanted to be sure no man would hurt her or cheat on her...but he wasn't in love with her, just love like a brother. It's funny when they were kids, Jianjian was the one that took care of the boys, when in highschool, ling was the one to look out for and take care of Ziqui and Jianjian, but when they returned 9 years later, roles switched again and Ziqiu was more the one to look out and take care of ling and Jianjian.
@@Surftouka I totally agree with you, the love, the passion, everything was too real. I wish I had people that I could literally depend on like the fathers. They were also parents and friends to their kids, they knew the struggles of each of their children. At first I wasn’t too fond of C dramas but now I literally look for something to watch in C dramas and if there’s nothing available then I look towards k dramas. While before I would always look to K dramas for my night binge watch. ❤️
@@summera8613 Jianjian was a very lucky girl. She had 2 loving dad's, 2 loving and very protective brothers, and later in high school she met 2 friends who also love her and stand by her. Then again, Jianjian has love for everyone. She brightened up their lives.

literally i can watch this show over and over again. after a drama, i usually go into the next but this will forever be my fave bc the plot was just so amazing, the actors and actresses killed it and it was very hilarious
This was my 1st cdrama and even though i have watched so many dramas after that,none can replace how much i like this drama so wholesome and it literally got me tears so many times while watching it.
I’m impressed. Tan Song-yun is 9 years older than Song Weilong and 5 years older than Zang Xincheng and still able to convince me that she is the youngest one in the family. Wow!
I loved the look of triumph in her eyes after she reached up to kiss Ling Xiao on her tippy toes ❤️ The way JJ and LX express and speak volumes with their eyes is too amazing. That makes them soulmates.

Yes! I want a season 2!!! It should start with Ling and Jianjian's wedding, Ziqui either meets his true love at the wedding...or I kind of like Jianjian's partner at the studio for Ziqui. Then we need babies, whether they have them, adopt them or both... would like to see Dad Li's grandkids (Ziqui's & LX/JJ's) all get along and grow up together. :) Oh & Cancan become a 🌟 so mom gets off her back, and Mingyue return from beijing a successful journalist! 🙂

I literally just finished the show last night and while it wrapped it up nicely and awesomely. I can’t help but still feel a sense of loss, but isn’t that always normal once you finish a good Asian drama. Now time to rewatch 😅😂😂

I loved this drama but I always wished they made like a whole separate show for when they were kids and we could see them grow up with each other bc every time the kids would bond especially in the beginning I teared up it was so cute :(
"Go Ahead" was arguably the most beautiful modern day Chinese drama I have ever watched to date .
I read some comment that said the change from bro to boyfie was a minus point. But for me, jianjian and ling xiao are really cute, their relationship already hinted since ep 1, they're whipped for each other way long time ago. There's no such thing of love triangle, since it's obvious that zique love for jianjian is platonic, and he's the best ge jianjian could ever had.
Everything is masterpiece. I think "Go ahead" is my forever Top 1 in Cdrama. The story line, casting, to production, the acting, and OST. MY FIRST EVER OBSERVATION IN CDRAMA. Thank you team "Go ahead" for creating this masterpiece. This drama earned a special place in my heart. 🧡✨
I know its kinda impossible but I'm hoping Season 2 will happen in the future. We deserve a Season 2. Since, the drama is successful. Why not?🥺
