I’ve recently learned about this brand, and i find them really cool and unique i think their modern watches has better built and finish but a vintage watch isn’t supposed to have all the robust modern qualities so im torn between the two. Also the vintage ones looks waaay cooler. I wish they haven’t sold out all the vintage yet. But i believe they will have a new batch of different vintage models soon from what I’ve seen from their Instagram. Great review on the watch
Yeah I think he will be making some more vintage style ones for sure. It’s nice to have to something very unique in your collection. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Wow that thing is cool looking. I like the aluminum bezel, the aged look of the hands, and that domed acrylic crystal. The drilled lugs are a huge bonus. I definitely think they nailed the 60’s classic skin diver style. Congrats on 1k subscribers!!!!!
Found this video from Shiro Kara story from Insta, awesome review I like your video style and yeah Shiro Kara makes great watches I have the modern ones a real solid piece. Funny thing they or he does is the watches with sapphire crystal and ceramic and glidelock are priced lower 😅 maybe because the vintage is so limited? And the modern one is not? idk but Its still cool to me
Awesome! Thank you! Thank you for the kind words. Yes in the sapphire for most of his watches. This one was acrylic to keep with that period correct look and feel. The other watches are very nice and quality is great. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks 😂, when I was in Afghanistan in 2011-2012. , a platoon of Aussie infantry from the 1 RAR, was my security detail every time we went outside the wire on mission. So I have to support my brothers in arms from down under. Miss those guys.
He makes c several different watches, but he makes only 5 at a time. I don’t know if he will limit the watch. On this watch he made five. In on his site it says please allow 2-4 weeks if you order. So I’m sure he will make more just lead time is a bit. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Ok 😂, huge difference between 904 and 316l stainless steel. Hand built in Tokyo Japan vs low paid labor in China. The artistry and craftsmanship of Shiro Kara compared to steel dive is no comparison. If price is all the maters then yeah you can find cheaper watches for sure. Hell you can get a Casio FW91 $15 that does more than both watches. Thanks for commenting and watching.
While 316L steel is highly resistant and durable, 904L steel is the highest grade of stainless steel available, offering extreme resistance and greater longevity. It is therefore more suitable for luxury watches that need to be highly durable and resistant.
I was today-years-old when I learned about Shiro Kara. For that. I thank you.
😂, well glad you saw the video. Great watches very cool. Thanks for watching and commenting. You will have to let me know what you think.

Rolex uses 904.
Most high end use 904 or titanium. Cool that he used 904 on this watch.
Not sure if it’s worth $400plus when steel dive etc make the same for $100
