    Thanks for another nice video. Really appreciate you filming as you do the job, without breaking the video up as much. I like seeing how the job is done like this. I'm not close to be a farmer unfortunately but I sure enjoy the atmosphere around farm work. Same would be nice to watch from the tractor cab, as the job is performed out in the field, plowing, manure spreading and everything else. Have a nice day. Looking forward to spring work in the fields too.

    Too bad you guys can't get your new chopper a couple years earlier, have one dedicated to corn and one for hay. Back in the last century we had more than a couple neighbors that had two pull types. They could also mix hay and corn in the silo that way in the fall also. Course those were the "big" time guys with 50 cows. LOL. And I dorealize these are almost million dollar choppers but there's more than 50 times as many cattle as well. I surely do admire Andy's determination and patience!

I liked the one I had with my 970 Claas and also, it took up more room to put in and out due to the bigger roll dia., can be a real pain the in the u know what. LOL. But, it will do a bang up job. • @Adam_Poirier
      @Adam_Poirier 6 месяцев назад

      Well, a newer forage harvester harvests three times the crop at three times the speed that an old pull type chopper can do.. an older self propelled chopper is made entirely out of steel. There are no creature comforts, and there's not much for plastic/wiring, and it also can only harvest a third of the crop at a third of the speed so it's all kind of relevant. If they harvested all of the acres they do with an older machine there wouldn't be much left to it lol.
