The POV's are NOTHING compared to the actual ride. Now seeing this after I rode it, this does no justice. This coaster is fast as hell with some serious airtime.

As someone who rode it today I can assure you it’s MUCH faster than it looks. Lots of airtime too! May not be steel vengeance but it’s still a great RMC

I love how at the crest of the first drop it looks like you're going straight into an inversion; it's not until you start going down that you see the drop is twisted. Also digging two airtime hills after the barrel roll instead of the one in the animation. Can't wait to give it a ride! Below!

CivilianSatellite I'm not sure if you've gotten to ride it yet, but I absolutely LOVED it. I used to hate the original Georgia Cyclone because it was so painful. I used to have a headache every time after I rode it. This one was absolutely incredible. I rode it 4 times yesterday and enjoyed it a million times more than the original. The track was very smooth and I didn't bump my head at all.
I did get to ride it. I agree with everything you said 100%!

Why does this coaster get so much hate? I think it’s a cute little ride with a couple nice elements and thrills packed in!
Daniel McDermott people are saying now that they have ridden it, that its better short. These heavier trains wouldn't even make it to the brake run now that I think about it.
Lucid Talks, the problem is that they didn't do much to the height, maybe if they made it like 110 feet tall with a steeper drop (maybe about as steep as Wicked Cyclone's drop) then they could have done more with the ride and not have pacing issues. Also they could have used the new RMC trains instead, despite the problems those have had.
Instead it's not even ten feet taller than the original Georgia Cyclone and goes the same speed. That on top of the ending that looks like they hit auto-complete is why I hate this ride so much, it's the Valravn of RMCs with how little they tried.
It packs quite the punch! We absolutely love it and are just fine with the ride length that many were upset about. We'd rather have a ride that pushes through and until the end than a longer ride just for the sake of meeting a length quota!
Yet the reviews are better than TT...
It's short. Stop making embarrassing excuses like some kind of corporate propagandist.

Bad Skill people are saying it feels longer and others even say its on the upper half of RMC COASTERS.

It's definitely short, but RMC did absolutely the best they could with the Georgia Cyclone space and track...can't wait to bounce to SFOG now!
lawman7117, I disagree with that sentiment, make it a bit taller (it's only like 4 feet taller) at about 110 feet, make it so it's faster than the original (which is just sad) and actually make full use of the layout.

This reason people hate this ride is cuz the original coaster was very small, and RMC did not have a lot to work with. But the airtime is decent, and the inversions are sweet!

Why do I keep doing this
I rode it, and it was really fun! You don't expect the first drop, because you end up going straight down instead of at a slope.
I’m still waiting for a hybrid coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure. It’s the only large Six Flags park without one now, since Over Georgia just got this one. I’ve been dying to ride a hybrid coaster for a while. Luckily I’ll be getting on Wicked Cyclone this summer, making that my first RMC credit, and I think I’ll be getting to Steel Vengeance as well. However I hate that I have to go such long distances to get to any of these awesome coasters
It’s a shame they tore Rolling Thunder down to make way for two rides that barely anyone goes on rather than giving it the hybrid treatment. They should build an RMC version of RT from the ground up and put it where the old safari drive through was, and make it duel like Twisted Colossus
It’s kinda disappointing that my home park hasn’t even looked to getting a large, new coaster in almost a decade (Joker is just an S&S clone). I would like to see a hybrid go there, or the first ever RMC T-Rex
It'll be cool if they paid homage to Rolling Thunder, by building and RMC Hybrid and call it: IRON THUNDER!!!

they should have left it alone. The Georgia Cyclone was one of the best rides they had. Now they are changing it to look like every other Cyclone coaster they got now.

The actual ride feels a little longer than this POV but it's actually smooth and the inversions are great.
I will never understand the mockery of this RMC had because of how short it is when it was announced. It’s a really good ride and is a candidate for a very good 1-2 punch at the park with Goliath

People are saying it's weak, but I honestly think this has a unique layout, even for being an RMC.
This is my home park, and I’m very excited for this ride! I’ll be riding this in a couple weeks, and then I’m going to Cedar Point next month to ride Steel Vengeance. I think Twisted Cyclone will be a good sample before riding Steel Vengeance.

the back to back inversions on the 1st turnaround are great too. .but I think my favorite part? the Headchopper on the drop!
