- We have been waiting a long time to get our hands on one of the new CVA Accura MR-X Muzzleloader and the moment has arrived!
The CVA™ Accura MR-X Rifle seems to have lived up to the hype! Is the the stock breech plug ready for powder like a BH209? Do you need to buy another plug? Also, that ramrod scares me...carbon fiber in freezing temps sounds like a brittle proposition. Any further thoughts about the ramrod since making this video? Thank you!

Can you confirm that the models that ship with a scope rail are also drilled and ready to install open sights? Or if you want to run open sights do you need to order the model that ships with open sights included (or have a gunsmith drill them aftermarket)?
I can confirm that the model that comes with the scope rail is drilled and tapped to accept open sights.

ARE YOU ABLE TO USE THE VARIFLAME WITH THIS MODEL?
CVA is working on producing a VariFlame conversion kit for the Accura MR-X and LR-X. It is not currently available but we are hoping to receive some soon!

What are the 2 screws on the barrel lug and what do they do?
The two screws on the underside of the barrel of the Accura MR-X are for adjusting the position and retention of the forestock.
When will the CVA™ Optima V2 Nitride (PR2023NM) be back in stock?
We are currently expecting to receive some of the PR2023NMs sometime this month.
Do you know when you will get more of these in stock?
Unfortunately, I do not have an ETA for our next shipment of Accura MR-Xs, however, we have several models currently in stock.

How long is the barrel and what is the twist?
1:20 I hope.
The CVA Accura MR-X has a 26" barrel. The .45 caliber version has a 1:22 twist rate and the .50 caliber version has a 1:28.

Can you put a peep sight on this rifle?
Absolutely! The Williams 676584 or 604816 both fit on that gun and are a complete sight set. Here are some links to them:

@@ziruk-king4466 For the peep sight sets, we recommend the 676584 - the 6 reticle inserts are really fine and offer better precision and viewing distance with an open sight.

Is it going to shoot 200 yds?
We have not had a chance to take it out to the range yet, however, from what we have seen, it should perform quite well at that distance.
