The trailer does a great job building up Chigurgh and the scene where the sheriff says “he’s seen the same things I’ve seen and it’s certainly made an impression on me” advertises the movie perfectly. The look in his eye says “this is no country for old men”

I'm so sad at how old this looks because i was a kid when it came out and i didn't think it looked bad obviously, it was amazingly done, and it may still appear that way to some people but some people will be turned off from watching it just because it looks like an old western or something similar but that's not what it is at all.

This movie should be in horror categeory. "The Silence of the Lamb" is said to be a only horror movie to win oscar but in my opinion this movie is scarier than " The Silence of the Lamb". SOTL is more a thriller movie . "Anton Chigurh" character as a pyschopath brutal hitman is really a nightmare. It is not a kind of movie that immediatily scare you but slowly built a tension in your mind .
