Been doing CrossFit for about 8 years. My first 4 shoes were Nano 4’s. Last year I tried the Metcon 6, and what a difference for me. My foot felt a lot more secure. Not great to run in, but rope climbs and box jumps are much better. By the way I’m 72! I love this video.
My fav shoe has been my nano 6’s for all-around workouts. Medium drop and very light weight shoe for runs but firm enough when lifting and has great inner ribs for rope climbs. 👍🏼
@@WODprep by the way:is it useful the heel support?Or is it a way to compensate a lack of ankle mobility?I mean,I can normaly squat without it,but could it be useful for bigger weights??🤔😳
Nano 8 have been my favorite shoe. I’ve also tried Metcon 4 & 5. They were ok. My least favorite are the Nobulls. Tried two different pairs and my feet hurt with DU and box jumps. I don’t even dare to try and run in them.
My next shoes will definitely be Inov-8s, they are my absolutely favourite running shoe brand and I’m a convert to low/zero drop especially for marathon+ distance. Currently training in Nobulls though which are comfy and supportive enough (and such pretty designs! 😍) but just a little bit narrow.
I’ve stuck with Nanos since the beginning - I own dozen Nanos. I’ve tried Metcons but they are too narrow. I have one pair of nobulls and Love them but not the price. I own a few 0-drop inov8 and like them for running only.
Sounds like you've found one you love. I will throw the Inov-8 260's into the mix... I LOVE THEM... just didn't have them in time for this video. A little more support, slightly less than a nano which I like.
Inov8 F-Lite 260 is my favorite cross training shoe, anything Inov8 just has that "put them on and forget you're wearing them" for me. Guess I better try those G300's some time... (Trail) running shoes is a whole different rabbit hole.
All time favourite cross training shoe : Nano 9, closely followed by Nano X. Not fond of X1's high heel counter because; blisters 😔 Love, love, love the different/freaky patterns you can get in Metcon 6's. Can take or leave No Bulls because they are way expensive (even though I've started collecting them too 😬) Just bought a pair of Puma Fuse because they are cheap (and nasty) and still undecided cos I've only worn them once ... All time favourite running shoe: Brooks Adrenaline, but haven't bought any for ages because I don't run any more ... All time favourite high heeled shoe: Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Jimmy Choo 😍😍😍 I'm a big shoe lover (geek) 😂
I have so many shoes. Think metcon 6 are my fav. Not a big fan of the 7s (have Fraser’s). Really like nano 8s and 10s. Just got Inov8 265. I like them, super light and flexible but not great for lifting stability. 🙅🏼♂️🙅🏼♂️🙅🏼♂️ on no bull
I hear the 265s are amazing... and yes there's a reason we didn't even mention NoBulls. Blisters... and it's been the same shoe for years. Maybe it's just not made well for my feet.
Because all of these shoes are far superior. I'm convinced people like NOBULL because they look nice (which I agree!), but at least for my feet, they are extremely uncomfortable. I'm really rooting for them to release some new CF shoes so we can see some improvement!

LOL we agree on "least favorite training shoe"....😅

I LOVE these G300's! Wore them all day yesterday and my brothers were jealous of how cool they look 😇
The 260 v2s I just got are quickly becoming an all-around go-to! SO MUCH LOVE.
@@WODprep How do they compare to the G300's? Need to consider my options for the next time I need a pair of workout shoes 🙃.
What do you thing about underamour shoes?
The video is a little long, however elaborate. Liked the content. Thank you👍

Those 9s are so good. And yes those X1 have been giving people blisters. I will throw in the Inov8 260 v2... they are quickly becoming my #1!

Not yet... 😌
No mention of Nobull except reference to Tia. Interesting…
