This creation is trying to demonstrate common musical roots of Persia and India through the medium of two wind instruments, the Bansuri (India) and the Ney (Iran), played by Julia Ohrmann and Mehdi Aminian.
India and Persia are among the oldest human civilizations. They share a common cultural heritage and throughout the centuries they exchanged elements in the fields of language, spirituality and art.
In this concert the musicians improvise in their respective musical language, but also create their own musical universe.
Julia Ohrmann has been among the first European women reaching a high level in playing Indian classical music on the bansuri. She is the student of the legendary Maestro Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, with whom she had the honnor to be on stage and go on tour internationally. You can read more about Julia here:

Mehdi Aminian is an Iranian musician, composer and creator of several international projects promoting musical dialogue between different cultures: Roots Revival Romania, Doina Revival, Aramaic and Sufi dialogue and more.

Humans create "modern chemical medicine", curing symptons... while poisoning the body.
Humans create rules to control people. People making the laws are crooked and filthy rich.
Humans love petting animals. Proceeds selectively, eating creatures they believe to be less than.
Humans poison the Earth with chemicals and oil spilling. Proceeds to be fooled by political scheming, thinking global warming is caused by people, and not the Sun.
Humans protest in the name of justice. Ignore the fact that humans are addicted to violence and horror.
Humans believe in peace and prosperity. People and animals still die of hunger.
Humans want paradise on Earth. They fail to see what loes in front of them.
Humans believe in God.
God doesn't believe in You.

My grandparents are Persian and they grew up in Lucknow, India. As a Canadian, I have lost all connection to half of my roots so I'm taking the time to explore my Persian roots and Indian Heritage/culture.

Julia Ohrmann representing music from India...
As I think about it more, it is a sign of respect that a European has taken the time to learn, and sculpt this style, and has earned the right to honor Indian Culture through the eyes of an European.
To some extent, She represents those of us that are not of Indian, nor Persian heritage, but realize we are all actually the same at the most basic level. Music and Art are two medium that helps showcase this.
Peace and thanks for this remarkable form of Art. It has made my night better. From the USA
EDIT: I meant no disrespect to Mr's Aminian and Bunda. The three musicians are an amazing compliment one to the other. All three pieces make up the whole.
To add, it is also very interesting to me as a Middle Eastern person that cultural appropriation seems to have different implications and perceptions in Europe and in the US

ohh he has a beautiful voice too and so clear and full. those who dislike this are so sad in life. many should listen to this all the way! this is so good! almost like traveling the silk road back in the times when travelers were forbidden if they were not of the races of they are now. looking for incense and murr. now a days are bought and sold on the market. frankincense is a very pricey commodity. since it only come from one tree in one place on earth. it is a prize to be held!

A Japanese friend felt sure that Julia Ohrmann's flute was a shakuhachi & the large lung capacity meant the player was a man. Be that as it may, marvelous music. And kudos to Google which knows i love carnatic indian instrumentals and baroque ones. They automatically put this on the tail of a two hour + baroque adagio and it was a delightful surprise! Classical music radio stations would not be going out of business if they played this and other fine mixed performances.. Thank you performers and RUclips.
