This is incredible. My mom used to make this years ago. I think she would use a heavy whipping cream and her mixture somehow or another and she would cool it on a large Marble Slab that she would keep in the freezer or outside during the winter. Thank you for this video I cannot wait to try this.
Y’all, this is a mystery to a lot of folks whose aunt, grandma or another older person used to make this old fashioned candy. It’s called a lot of different things but is really simple to make. I highly recommend doing with friends and family because it’s just fun to do things together! We’re going to try Cooking it longer in another video so please Subscribe and click the notification 🔔 Bell so you’ll know when it’s posted. We’re also doing a lot more other kinds of goodies coming up too! Thanks so much! 😀💕🎄

Brad, thank you so much! Totally enjoy making these for my near and far friends! 😀💕
This is a great candy video!!
Thank you!!
Can you use any sugar substitute
No ma’am. It’s a chemical reaction for sugar only. I’ve not looked up sugar free versions. Thank you.
I'm guessing Hertford Co. or Bertie Co. How close am I?
Martin/Beaufort area. . 😃
Moms family was from Bertie Co. 😃
Don't twist it! The less you touch it the more air is trapped inside the better it is. I miss my grandma.
Thank you so much for your advice. Grandparents are the best, I surely miss mine as well. Merry Christmas and bless you!! ❤️🎄🎁
