go to home depot and buy a cheap broom stick handle and some white paracord. Take about 20 foot of the paracord and take the inside threads out. Buy a small eye screw to screw into the tip of the broom stick handle. thread the cord without the inside threads through the eye screw and tie it to the "handle". This works very well for practice. I taught a fly casting class and used three of these to get my students to form proper loops before they went to casting practice flies on the lawn, then to the lake and with in 2 hours, they were catching bluegill!
