I've got an American Derringer in .410/45C and it's a beast. Only shot it once....that was enough. I know what it can do and how close I need to get to the bad guy! Enjoy yours!!

I baught mine in 9mm. I removed the trigger guard.
I keep it in my tacklebox Loaded with cci shotshells. But have a couple jhp just incase because I only fish at night and off the banks. A couple weeks ago I was fishing for flathead catfish and I had to go behind a tree to do my business when a huge full grown cottonmouth was rolled up at full display. I pulled out my darenger with cci shotshells and put both barrels down Its throat LOL. Anyway thanks for sharing there Awsome little guns.

Thanks, I recently bought one and am glad to see one fired before I take mine out. Gotta be honest, I thought 410 rounds would hit really hard. This will definitely be my backup or secondary if possible. Am planning on a 9mm barrel as well.
    Thanks for the video!

The line of Bond Derringers there is almost any caliber. Mine is a snake, 1 set .22 mag barrels, 1 .45 colt/410 barrel set. The .45 colt is my chosen caliber. The rear sight was deepened and set for 10 yards. Gun was held in a modified Ransom rest. Very accurate. And set for my pet load.
My Bond is not a fan of 255gr flatnosed HP. Ball or flatnosed in the 200gr is its preferred ammo. The .22 mag actually works well with the modified rear sight. Good enough to get a bunny for lunch. Hard to hit with the short sight radius at 60ft but easy at 25ft. Great guns. Over built, excellent steels in manufacturing, reliable and a big punch if you need it.

Awesome demo! Yes the 410 bruised my knuckle as well! I opted not to try the 45's. Now I will go back and try. Also looking for extended grips. Large hands and hard to hold. And yes seems like you have to tilt down to hit the target. Thanks again for the review! Well done!

      Watch the video called
'THE MONEY MASTERS' by Bill Still.
Then also watch the video called 'THE SECRET OF OZ' by Bill Still.
Then you will know what action we must take when organized !
Give me thoughts about the two videos after you watch them.
I know what will completely get rid of the U.S.A. debt, but many of us have to demand this from the politicians (our public servants).
If the politicians won't listen then the military has the right to defend the U.S.A. against "all threats, foreign and DOMESTIC" !
      * Please watch the 2 videos I recommended to you first, then we will talk.
⚠ Maybe we should STOP focusing so much on non-essential distractions and START focusing on who controls the money system.

THE LOSS OF CONFIDENCE IN THE U.S.A. DOLLAR CAUSES VALUE LOSS IN THE U.S.A. DOLLAR !
People, please stop talking negative about the U.S.A. dollar.
Yes, most of us agree that the dollar would be better if the privately owned Federal Reserve business would be replaced with Congress taking back their Constitutional right to print the dollar again as they did before the year 1913.
      * Please watch the video documentary called, 'THE MONEY MASTERS' by Bill Still.
The U.S. dollar currency has value in most countries on this earth because modern day technology has made it almost impossible to counterfeit. Gold and Silver can be easily counterfeited !
It costs many thousands of dollars to own a machine that accurately tests Gold and Silver for counterfeits.
      * I personally own a little Gold and Silver as a novelty.
By you and others criticizing the U.S.A. dollar pushes us faster towards a One World Order cashless digital currency money slavery system !
Please research past history from many hundreds of years ago on how Gold and Silver was made scarce by corrupt politicians.
When Gold & Silver is made scarce it causes many, many problems.
Send all the corrupt politicians that got the U.S.A in debt to communist China to have them pay off the debt in the China slave labor prisons !
      * President Trump can create an Executive Order to wipe out the U.S.A. debt.
Then allow Congress their Constitutional right to print non-debt based money again as they did before the year 1913.
The words 'FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE' will then be replaced with the words 'UNITED STATES NOTE' back on our cash.
If Congress does not do this soon we are going to be in a lot of trouble ! !
Why isn't President Trump taking action by implementing this ?
This would truly help "make America great again!"
I and many other American's are not afraid of the corrupt Federal Reserve bank. "We The People" are the government. The U.S. Constitution clearly explains this! The politicians are our public servants. WE SHOULD NEVER BE AFRAID TO FIGHT FOR THE TRUTH ! ! !
Watch the historical video documentary called
'THE SECRET OF OZ' by Bill Still.
It explains that Gold and Silver have been made scarce by banks that resulted in depressions and many other serious problems. This fact has happened often in many countries.

*Now, I want you all to think carefully about the logical conclusion here.
The evil elitist that manipulate the prices of Gold & Silver can make a new law that says you can't "buy or sell" with Gold, Silver or Cash.
Their new form of "money" will be a computer chip in your "right hand or forehead" that can be scanned just like your bank debit cards at all stores.
How many of you have 7 years of food stored up in your houses or in your apartments or on your property ?
Why would anybody invest or put their trust in Gold & Silver that is manipulated by very evil people ?
Question, how many of you will be willing to trade your guns and ammo in for food and medicines?
How many are going to let themselves and their family members go hungry to the point of starvation by NOT accepting the new 666 "beast" money system ?
How many of you will allow yourselves or family members suffer with an injury because you refuse to have the injury treated at your local walk-in clinic or hospital that only accepts a computer chip in the "right hand or forehead" ?
"Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

What I like is most of the force comes back into your Palm. It's not bad at all and my hand us small. It has no.mote trigger pull than my husbsnd's full size .45 lc. Rough N Rowdy 45/410 $299
Rough N Roudy 9mm $269 at my local dealer when I bought the 45/410 earlier this week.
Hand cannon built like a tank.
There are several safety mechanisms besides the slide button safety. One where the hammer does not rest on the round, and won't go near it unless the trigger is firmly pulled with the hammer pulled. So if you drop it on accident, it won't result in accidental discharge. A+ work from the Bond family and factory.

I had two over the years. A 3” Snake Slayer with the old style trigger. That style you could get a competition spring kit in which was great. The issue with it was the hammer was small and hard to get into action. Sold it when I moved to VA. Bought the 4.2” Snake Slayer when I moved to AZ. It had the same trigger as yours. With 3” buckshot load and 45 Colt 225 and 255 loads I would consistently get “flyers” that left the target at 10 yards and more than I was comfortable accounting for at 5 yards. Tried a 4.2” dedicated 45 Colt barrel with some improvement but not enough to make me comfortable over 5 yards. Some decided they need this more than I did and I acquired a Charter Arms Bulldog XL in 45 Colt. It groups well, cost in the neighborhood of the Rowdy, has 5 shots, weighing slightly more than the Rowdy and if I need snake shot it’s available in 45 Colt.

i had a similarly less finished and cheaper b.a. roughneck in 357/38. it never worked properly precisely because it is less finished. barrel release locked tight after discharge, barrels wouldn’t interchange. after a telephone tussle with a b.a. csr i was finally allowed to return it at my expense for warranty repair. the roughneck came back not 100% cured. b.a. never responded to my followup email and i sold it at a loss. am i a bond arms hater? far from it, i own four with another 5 barrels. the cheaper roughneck and rowdy versions have trashed b.a.’s hard earned reputation. my advice: do as i did, buy used, fully finished original, gen2, b.a. and use extended rubber grips for “4” calibers.

JTNS 28 Your experience matches mine with the roughneck. I’ve owned mine two months and it light strikes randomly. The primer is dented but not enough to go off. They replaced a barrel the first month I owned it. When that barrel did the same, they refuse to examine the gun under warranty. They want me to pay all shipping expense and costs to repair a defect the gun had when it left the factory. If I have to pay, I’m not paying them! With a little practice you can become very proficient with these firearms and I know from my own use with my .38/.357 version. I carry mine as a backup to my 642. My NY reload is two rounds of .357 Mag, and if it comes out it will be used at very close range. Just sayin.

Doesn't anyone realize the sight offset of the lower barrel? You can't aim dead on and expect to hit bullseye. One barrel will shoot much different than the other you need to know what barrel is firing first and and know where it hits. Use that one for accurate fire.

Just bought a Bond Arms Roughneck. Quality of "fit & finish" is extraordinary. Quality U.S. made firearms.
The triggers on Derringers are different than any other handgun. Getting use to how they function takes time, practice & muscle memory. You do NOT simply pull the trigger like other firearms. You must pull the Bangswitch DOWN & BACK
    for it to fire.

Honestly, I don't think it's gonna matter in a real life, point blank scenerio. This gun is made to point and shoot your threat. Possibly a contact shot even. Derringers are a last ditch, very close range firearm. It doesn't even need sights for it's intended use.
