Thanks for the book recommendations! They look good. There are so many amazing permaculture books out there it’s hard to pick a couple. We are in a similar situation. Trying to design gardens from scratch taking into consideration kids, trampoline, the large fire pit area, deck and outdoor cooking area still to come as we collect salvaged materials, and working around naughty digging/jumping dogs. As well as the positioning of the house (well yurt) yard on the farm. So many needs to meet!
