Follow along as we wake up early, wait in long lines and share our thoughts on how this opening day compared to the opening of Hargrids Magical Creatures Motor Bike Adventure!

man, I agree with you so much. There is a diference between being excited for a ride/opening, but some people loose their minds, running like crazy for 10 meters. If people start taking things easy, instead of always "I am first before you".. I guarantee a better world. love you man!!! great vids

If only universal would learn from Disney and give boarding passes so you don’t wait 12 hours for a new ride and waste your entire day.
@@hazelbell6984 it was 5 hours max and sustained 60-75 min the rest of the day.
@@hazelbell6984 ..but only for those with really fast phones that can get in the boarding pass in the first 5 seconds (literally)
My friends and I went on June 3 and got on the ride within 20 minutes using the single rider lines.

*Raptor* I don't know why, but I teared up seeing the ride. I grew up in Universal with my siblings, going almost every year with my dad. I can't wait to take my kids again and see my son's eyes light up with joy all over again.
Oh man! I’m glad I’m not the only one. I felt a little emotional when everyone started clapping at the end. I’ve been coming to Universal/Islands of Adventure since I was 5 (now going on 26 🥳) and I cannot wait until I can bring my kids to the parks 🥹
I imagine this is what the opening has been like for every Harry Potter ride. One funny thing is that Cedar Point opened a new ride this year and I went on opening day to a 1 hour line. That shows that the Universal rides are way more hyped up.
Well of course it is because Universal is more popular. I don't know why people still do this 😂. Can we stop comparing internationally famous theme parks to regional amusement parks? That's like comparing Disney World to Six Flags Over Georgia.
Also the wait for Steel Vengeance was insane on opening day back in 2017
Cedar Point only opened Snake River Expendition this year. It's basically a cheaper version of Disney's Jungle Cruise- it's not a roller coaster or even worth the wait for that matter. If it was then I'm sure it would've had higher wait times like Top Thrill Dragster, Valrvan, and Steel Vengeance did when they each opened.

Velocicoaster had the shortest waits for an opening day ride that Dudley Do-Right and Kong had longer waits then Velocicoaster's opening day

My kids and I were there, I actually spotted my daughters in this video...what a great surprise🤣 we were in line for about 45 mins when they said it would be 240 min wait, then they opened single riders and boom we were on in less then 30. INSANE ride, one of the best around. Definitely worth the wait in line. This is a must to ride when in the park🤩
My son and I rode this 12 times over 3 days last week of May. It was incredible.
I'm so happy that I got to ride this during the technical rehearsals a few weeks ago. Definitely worth it if you are willing to wait

i haven't been since 2009 and also really love Disney world and last time I went was in 1998. want go back but if ever got funds I seriously would spend a week at universal first thing and wait forever for Disney if possible.i i want to do harry potter areas and of course velocicoaster. i wonder if they have any plushies of Blue

Hagrid's is such a nightmare coaster to operate... sadly, I don't see it living the 10 year mark. I can't WAIT to get on the Velocicoaster though!!!! It's a true, honest to god intimin blast inversion coaster with ridiculously incredible theming!!! that's how you build a coaster.
as for the super fast wait time... I've been hearing reports that the coaster is a good 8/10 (and even 9/10) on the intensity meter. I'm sure that a lot of children and casual coaster riders were scared away from a repeat ride, and thus choosing to not line up again. in addition to running 4 trains at a time, this is PERFECT for hardcore coaster riders!!! I really am jealous that I have to wait till like August to ride this...

Raptor! Really enjoy your videos! What an awesome ride! My Fiancé and I visited Universal the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and got a chance to ride VelociCoaster! We were excited that they had a soft opening for it. We only waited about 45-50 min. Couldn’t have asked for a better first experience on this attraction. Well done Universal!! Can’t wait to go back.
Was so happy we were able to ride this a month ago when I took my wife there on mother's day weekend . Only waited about and 60 minutes ,Pretty intense ride. If u can count how many raptors statues you see during your ride ,good luck counting lol

@ThemeParkExpress yesterday was my Harry Potter 19th birthday it was a lot of fun had Harry Potter themed cupcakes, themed balloons from Party City and Dollar Tree. I didn't make butterbeer didn't had time to take it.

@@hamiltoncrockett1288 Thank you I did not go to Universal yesterday on my birthday because I was having a birthday party at a roller rink and all my girlfriends I hang out with and skate with came to hang out with me. I've been on the VelociCoaster twice already during technical rehearsals didn't have to wait in a long line because I have my disability pass etc and going back on the VelociCoaster in two weeks for the third time and it will be my boyfriends' first time riding it and his entire family we are excited to go on and I never been to Universal with my boyfriend so this will be the first time and my boyfriend will be doing something for me to celebrate my birthday with me.

I’m glad it was a such a smooth process because I went for the opening of transformer 3D and we waited all day to get on in 98 degree heat because it kept breaking down!

Not to be a negative Nelly here but were you really SHOCKED that the grand opening of one of the most anticipated coasters after a pandemic had long lines? Do ya not remember the 6 hour waits when Hagrid opened?

I came a few weeks ago and went on the soft opening, best ride I’ve ever been on, granted I haven’t been to many parks. I’m very glad my family went when we did, I would not be waiting in that line, at that time lol.

A friend and I planned to go to universal on the 9th and 10th before we knew about the grand opening. I'm so glad we rode most of the rides we planned to on the 9th. The coaster looks fun but I'm too scared to ride it.
Raptor! New subscriber here! We went last week and I rode the Velocicoaster! It was a crazy ride! My lucky 12 year old son rode it twice! with me and then with his dad 😊 we love the child swap, and we miss universal studios already!
why is everyone rushing to get onto the ride if it had a soft opening? everyone could have ridden the ride earlier than opening day, so why is there such a big crowd today? other than celebrity appearances i don’t get it. /g

I rode Velocicoaster two weeks ago. A lot of us already experienced the ride. It pretty much seemed to be already open for days. Not shocked at this grand opening at all.

This was three of my grandson’s FIRST ever roller coaster ride - May 23, 2021. One grandson kept screaming “Help Me!” 😱
Am I the only one that feels kinda bad for some of the workers? I’m so glad you guys are respectful, because some of these people are ridiculous. I understand the hype of wanting to ride on opening day, but I wish some of these people were more respectful towards the cast members and the rules :(
We even saw other vloggers running to try and get around people to get in first! It was nuts!
