I am in my 40's, grew up in the high desert of California, and saw the pioneers of BMX and mountain biking, first hand. Two wheels is like walking for me, but this is insane! I did some crazy stuff, back in the eighties and nineties, and still ride today, but this is total commitment, no turning back, edge of envelope riding!
Mad respect for what these guys do.
I have so much respect for these riders, everyone of them going down that hill is a winner in my eyes, Respect !

I watched this last weekend, Holy Effing Cow was it something !! 20 years ago staging a competition like this would have led to fatalities, today the bikes are in a totally different universe these kids talents make it look effortless to riding down shit I would hike down.

Having a speedometer on those bikes would help them A LOT when it comes to knowing if they'll clear certain jumps. It's not like in MX where you have the sound of your engine

What an awesome video - damn - I aint into bikes and think the last time i rode a bike was when i was at school but thats one of them were you would just go to the start line, grab a bike and go for it just for the craic :) Mental and fairplay... Awesome peeps :)
