As a 71 year old Harry Potter fan, including all the Magical Creature Movies, I really enjoy all your in depth story narratives about everything related to and could possibly be from the "Magical World"! Thank You so much. I would have loved to teach magical healing and potions at Hogwarts and Ilvermorny.
I think that the primary reason house elves were thought more highly of than before is because they actually participated in the Battle of Hogwarts. You wouldn't know that if you only watched the movies.
It has been said that Lucius Malfoy escaped jail by selling out his fellow death eaters. According to Mugglenet, Malfoys gained immunity and tons of retribution in exchange for helping the world get rid of the D.E. Of course, they ended up in Witness Protection for safety, but Draco barely speaks to his dad
Lucius probably did buy his way out of prison by giving information. But unlike Draco who was in Hogwarts and had his life saved by Harry - a life debt. Draco saw the blood and lives lost by those helping Harry. Plus he didn't want to take the dark mark. Two different experiences that lead to different views in the aftermath of the war.
Lucius Malfoy was a Slytherin, and Slytherins are known for thinking about themselves first, the rest of their family, friends and small number of allies they have second, and rest of the world just go to hell. Lol 😂
Even in the darkest times there is light this likely means his friends it’s like Dumbledore once said: “Do not pity the dead Harry. Pity the living and above all those who live without love.”
As far as Magic Awakened goes, Prof. Longbottom became Head of Gryffindor House, Horace Slughorn's return means he'll also resume his role as the Head of Slytherin House too.
The Malfoy's never went to Azkaban after the war. Harry himself advocated for this, since the Malfoy's (especially Narcissa) turned on Voldemort at the end. Narcissa actually proved to be crucial to Voldemorts defeat.
Wasn't it also because they left before knowing final outcome? Also I doubt Harry would want Malfoy to go to prison as he did save him as well and was forced to serve.
I hope Harry was celebrated as a hero/saviour, and was known as such for the rest of his life. And I like to hope he eventually wrote a book telling the world exactly what happened. Although he probably didn’t knowing him.

It’s always called the second wizarding war, yet all the information that we have generally heard about centers around Great Britain. Did this war extend beyond Great Britain? If so where are those stories?
Indeed. There was a few of them. According to the official timeline, there is The Great Wizarding War 1913-1915......the Congenital War 1919-1925- The Wizarding War 1939-1945, the Global Wizarding War 1950-1960, the first wizarding war 1970-1981.

I imagine that much of the postwar healing took years to accomplish. While the physical rebuilding of places such as Hogwarts and Gringotts were probably finished with a few flourishes of wands, the changes in policy and government must have been a long and arduous process.
Dark Magic has the nasty side effect of being difficult to repair, so you'd definitely see some lingering damage at Hogwarts. Gringotts could have been able to be repaired pretty much completely I think.
I've often wondered just how wide the reach of Voldemort was during the second war actually was. It seems it was largely confined to Britain. Sure, it would have effected other nations, but it doesn't seem that they would have suffered the widespread death and destruction Britain did.
Voldemort could have ignored Harry and spread elsewhere easily because unlike Grindelwald, he was not interested in winning people's hearts with niceties as he saw Grindelwald fail with that. But he was obsessed with Harry which was his doom.

Great video, a few things that weren't done in the last movie that I have always wondered about were why they never used the re build spell that was used at the end of the 1st Magical Creatures movie ?, if they could rebuild large chunks of a city back in the 20's a battle damaged castle in the modern day should have been a cinch. Also, if you wanted to find a Death Eater how about just looking for anyone with a bloody great snake & skull tattoo on their forearm ? & use that truth potion on them ?, there seems to be a very random use of powerful spells that only ever seem to be used once, don't even get me started on the use of or lack of use of Phoenix tears, that might have helpfull in a few other places. But I digress, lets just hope Disney dosn't get it's grubby mits on this franchise & does a fubar job on it, anyway, thanks for taking the time to do this, it was worth the watch.

The Malfoys selling out everyone to save thier own skin, a new government regime with Hermione as she worked to change everything. Harry Potter Day. But in Magic Awakened, sympathizers arise in the case of the NOTME group, to me it reminds of Gellert Grindelwald's intention but only to flaunt the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy
Thank you for this amazing video! Although, I have questions as to the war's impact on the wider wizarding world (outside the UK). All the major events in this series seem to have transpired in the UK, including the end of the war. Does this mean that other nations weren't as affected? Or was is it omitted due to it being too expansive?
The irony of Voldemort's reasoning... He's a Muggleborn himself, yet he achieved so much. Did he truly never come to realize that hard work pays off way more in the end over heritage?
What happened to the Dursleys(think that's their name) & did Harry ever see or contact Dudley? I thought it was cool that Dudley didn't want to leave Harry alone & was worried about him.
Vernon and petunia( his aunt and uncle) stayed away from harry but dudley was on Christmas card terms. They saw eachother occasionally but out of a sense of duty so their kids could see eachother. That's what it says on pottermore
Maybe a topic for a future video but I am curious why do you think Dumbledore was unable to rid Hogwarts of the culture of prejudices mostly by Slytherins' following the First Wizarding War like how McGonagall was able to successfully do following the second Wizarding War?
You state it as tho Lucious was sent at Azkaban after WW#2. Thought he wasn't ... something about cooperating wth capture of other Deatheaters & Narcissa having saved HP (lied to Voldy in FF).
Got a great question, phoenix tears have healing powers, Fawkes lived in the headmasters office all throughout the books, why didn’t Fawkes heal Arthur Weasley after he was attacked guarding the prophecy? I mean he was being brave and loyal to Dumbledore, the usual prerequisite for Fawkes to offer up tears. I’m in the middle of my millionth reread and this just occurred to me.
Thank you for all these amazing videos, this one in particular answers some very controversial and important questions, as always well done in helping us "muggles" have a better hnderstanding of this amazing world. ❤
I hope Harry Potter comes to America to save Ilvermorny. It’s sad that Ilvermorny is being prejudice ignoring the history of the founding of Ilvermorny that a Muggle and a Witch married and ran Ilvermorny.
Would really love a follow up set of books for the Harry Potter wizarding world say when Harry is an old man looking bk on his life after everything that happened x
Out of all that happened in the books it was the love of a mother that saved them all. First it was his mom.then it was petunia. Even though she despised Harry's dad and sorcerers in general she had feelings for Harry or she wouldn't have kept him all those years. Yes she was an abusive bitch but she did have a shred of love for the boy. Then you have molly. Harry's real mother figure in the story. She cared for Harry almost as much as her own kids. A very good lady. This next one is a bit controversial but narcissa.if she hadn't made the vow with snaps then Dumbledore plan wouldn't have worked. Then in the forest voldemort was so weak she was able to lie to him that Harry was dead because in her gratitude and long in for her son that was the quickest what to get to the castle to get draco. So in the end the whole story was about love and especially mothers love. I wonder the power levels of the Harry potter wizards because during the story Molly seems to have a substantial power. Between having all those things do house chores to taking out belatrix. I just wonder.
I would have loved to see Harry sell 12 Grimmauld Place to Arthur for the price of one knut with the stipulation of unlimited visiting privileges. Molly would adore having such an impressive house and would make it into a warm and loving home, one very different from where Sirius grew up in.

All the major events in this series seem to have transpired in the UK, including the end of the war. Does this mean that other nations weren't as affected? Or was is it omitted due to it being too expansive?
House elves didn't crave freedom, only dobby did and he was considered an embarrassment by other elves.
What happened to Fawkes and the Black family fortune? Thanks.
The irony of Voldemort's reasoning...
He's a Muggleborn himself, yet he achieved so much. Did he truly never come to realize that hard work pays off way more in the end over heritage?
video idea: why didnt harry hear/feel tom riddles diary horcrux in the chamber of secrets, like he hears the others??
These are wonderful
What happened to the Dursleys(think that's their name) & did Harry ever see or contact Dudley? I thought it was cool that Dudley didn't want to leave Harry alone & was worried about him.
Vernon and petunia( his aunt and uncle) stayed away from harry but dudley was on Christmas card terms. They saw eachother occasionally but out of a sense of duty so their kids could see eachother. That's what it says on pottermore
Everything described in this video should have been made into a movie
Great video.
Maybe a topic for a future video but I am curious why do you think Dumbledore was unable to rid Hogwarts of the culture of prejudices mostly by Slytherins' following the First Wizarding War like how McGonagall was able to successfully do following the second Wizarding War?
Kingsley is my favourite Harry Potter character
You state it as tho Lucious was sent at Azkaban after WW#2. Thought he wasn't ... something about cooperating wth capture of other Deatheaters & Narcissa having saved HP (lied to Voldy in FF).
Got a great question, phoenix tears have healing powers, Fawkes lived in the headmasters office all throughout the books, why didn’t Fawkes heal Arthur Weasley after he was attacked guarding the prophecy? I mean he was being brave and loyal to Dumbledore, the usual prerequisite for Fawkes to offer up tears. I’m in the middle of my millionth reread and this just occurred to me.
i always thought Deathly hallows needed a chapter between the last chapter and the epilogue going through some of these details.
Were Harry and Ron qualified to be Aurors? They never graduated Hogwarts from what I have read.
An easy way to root out who was really Imperiused that nobody seems to think of-Veritaserum!
Thank you for all these amazing videos, this one in particular answers some very controversial and important questions, as always well done in helping us "muggles" have a better hnderstanding of this amazing world. ❤
Thank-you for watching!
I wonder what the founders would have thought of the battle
Why was the minister fighting in the battle? Confused 😕
Scrimgeour took over from Fudge as Minister but it was still chaos
I think he was fighting just because he was good at it and wanted to help
Hii nice video
Hi. What is your song that starts at 7:37 to 8:57?
You never mentioned anything about diagon alley
I hope Harry Potter comes to America to save Ilvermorny.
It’s sad that Ilvermorny is being prejudice ignoring the history of the founding of Ilvermorny that a Muggle and a Witch married and ran Ilvermorny.
Would really love a follow up set of books for the Harry Potter wizarding world say when Harry is an old man looking bk on his life after everything that happened x
Rita Skeeter or whatever is kinda like The Sun of UK news paper or TMZ
House Elves weren't freedom craving but were proud of their service. Get it right!
60year old wand maker love the wizarding world .
