-This old Firefighter worked Station 8 Denver in 1970--- Wow that was 54 years ago, right after it opened-- At that time we ran Pumper 8, not called an Engine in those days, Snorkel 8 an 85' rig, and Squad 8 which I worked on and dearly loved. I did 42 years in the Fire service and loved every day of it. I went on to work Miami-Dade 28 years with many of them on Telesquirt 2 (S-2) and S-11 both at times the busiest trucks in the country. I was blessed.
Even if the call volumes have been obscured, Los Angeles Light Force 11 has since dominated Denver Truck 4 over being the busiest truck company since our homeless crisis has gone up in smoke 😭
no one asked, truck 4 isnt even shown here. The reason truck 4s call volume is dropped is because denver runs flycars which pick up medical runs for the rigs downtown.
