Sandworm Simulation

Working on simulating some sand. My physics model for sand is not very advanced so it can't form dunes :(. I have also read that maybe the grains that form a dune are a bit sorted and maybe the deeper ones are denser/heavier and anchored by vegetation?

I love your work! I wish I could do same experiments with physics and rendering someday. I feel like it is a really complex subject. Adding to it that I have not ever coded in low-level languages, worked with any graphics engines, let alone written my own renderer.
But the fun of it and enjoying the results should be great motivators, right? 😄

this is awesome, are u able to make the sand sticky? could compress the sand into sand castles lol, would make convincing snow too

Thanks! I still need to improve the sand model for better shape retention. Right now all it has are mini bumps but we need dunes lol
