These homes look so much more solid than homes being built nowadays! Clearly a new air conditioning system is needed, but I would jump at the chance to have that home and furnish it with retro style furniture professionally done!
I agree. There were a few things needed done to my liking but you can't beat style and sturdiness of vintage homes in Vegas.
I’d so much rather a house like this than a new construction. Mid Century modern is my absolute favorite. People calling a 430k mid century treasure like this a “starter-home” crack me up. This is my dream home! I could never afford it. But it was so nice to see the tour. Thanks for sharing!
I like it too but people definitely have different opinions of this house. Thanks for watching😃

Way cool skeleton but the courtyard and single pane windows need some love lol
Agreed 😃
Once a beautiful house and could be again. It needs color and the wood removed to show the fantastic blocks. I hate the kitchen right in the Foyer of the house??? Lots of Un-Doing to be done and it will be a great house. Love the front doors!
God bless🙏 usa🇺🇸
A swing and a miss on this one… as in this reno. That wood on the outside mostly. Looks boarded up. Wood in the desert does not hold up. Some of the boards are already warped… and that driveway… They redid the entire house yet the first thing you see is a cracked driveway.
Enjoyed the video.
That's what I thought. The house was boarded up. I'm sure the old single pane windows will add value though
Didn’t like the wood either. At first glance, I thought ‘why are the windows boarded up?’ The white lattice concrete in front of the wood is all that’s needed. Weird.
@@Nimuetootooexactly what I thought. No need to cover the mid century block.
MCM gone--so tragic.
If it was a new construction I'd say well done... But remodeling the crap out of a house to destroy what makes it a Mid-century home is sad. I'd be just as disappointed seeing a modernization like this in a New England center hall Colonial.
Oooh
Can't you tell me that prince for this home tank you
It was listed for $419,500 and sold for $437,000
Not bad for a starter home... in that, next owner's future renovations should include vaulted ceilings into the roof line, if too costly to raise the roof, more recessed pot lighting, ceiling fans, NEW AC unit, maybe one of those Mitsubishi units with 4 zones, maybe Solar Panels and battery backup...a Tesla Power Wall, Sky lights, new windows and doors, exterior and interior doors, maybe interior sound damping within the few walls left, and they may add an additional 200K dollars or more to the value of the home. I say about 100K - 160K dollars budget within a 6 year stay within the home should reap huge gains over time but that budget and upgrades could be cut shorter if the neighborhood doesn't keep up with the market values. There are going to be some great number of people not able to afford their homes, thanks to the thing and govts drag feet in giving aid to people and not everyone got aid, that foreclosures will increase. I mean its good the next owner is in an older neighborhood where many may own their homes which would aid in keeping property value stable. If that next person can't sale after 6 years its a great rental and the pool house could be rented out as AirBnB just add a bathroom and kitchenet.
What’s up with that wood 😡😡😡
It was a fad 🤣
