Wow! Just wow. This place is fantastic. The last few places you've shown haven't impressed me much because they are offerings from 'tract' builders trying to 'step up their game'. I give them credit but it ain't working. Really, the only contenders today are Toll Bros and Blue Heron in the luxe market. Back to this property though, did I mention it's fantastic? Stately exterior architecture, incomparable views, ultimate privacy and security upgrades. Some might find the interior 'last century dated' and overly ostentatious but I find it grand and fitting to the luxe lifestyle of ANY century. polished travertine floors, grand expanses, soaring ceilings with unique architectural features throughout, this place is a palace! I used to live in Vegas. I built my dream home in Vegas 7200 sq ft 6 bedrooms 6.5 bathrooms it was amazing. I was going to retire in that home then 2007 came my partner died of cancer, I had a horrible car accident. I lost everything. I plan on moving back and retiring in Vegas. I had to go back to work but these videos and your channel are my constant motivation to keep working hard, and that their is a future to go back to Vegas. Thanks Chakits.

That being said, a prospective buyer needs to bring in a few inspectors, with different specialties, to inspect the house in general and the mechanical functions of the house. The house looks OK. However, when compared to new homes in Las Vegas it looks tired and dated. There are many things that need to be updated. I think the seller may have to reduce the price by a few hundred thousand dollars because the house is dated and especially if the inspectors start finding serious issues associated with a structure of this age that has had the intense Las Vegas sun and heat wearing down the house for a few decades.

Chakits the series of inter linking rooms upstairs I would suggest were what is known as a Nanny suite, so the nanny sleeps in and can access both children's rooms without disturbing the main household, love your videos.
Hey Chakits, a few things to keep in mind for this property. I live on the east side and know right away this property is the one on Owens. Did you mention there are security guards at the entrance 24/7? You sure do get the privacy by not having random people driving on your streets, but people tend to hike Frenchman (the mountains behind you). And I have hiked them myself and people go everyday, and you can see EVERYTHING in their backyards and what they’re doing. Also, middle school that’s near the property tends to attract the wrong type of crowd at night 😬

Apparently, the two hallways on the second floor allowed the owners to access the bedrooms from their side when needed, but the second hallway allowed the kids or guests to access their rooms and limiting the traffic towards the master bedroom. It increases the privacy for the parents in their master bedroom. The home needs modernization and change outs for the flooring and cabinets. Upgrading to solar would be helpful energy wise and tankless water heaters placed closer to their point of use.

Custom fish aquariums, shows up both entry/dining room and the office; added benefit, privacy, soothing movement, sense of space & style. I like the window in the laundry room a lot. Because of it's location & metal lining, laundry chute? I would also consider a water line & spigot (spell?) On that front balcony to water plants.

This is a beautiful mansion. It remind me of fairytale houses, like Cinderella or Beauty and the best. The I love how wide the kitchen is and when you first walked in. Wow, breathtaking. But then, it's ok for me. I love the view though.

this is good, ample .75 acre land awsome view, older but 100x better then all other cage that cramped together 3ft apart on tiny lot
Oh my god... that view is everything. The kitchen is actually not that bad. I would get some custom fronts to update the look a bit, but that counter top is just fine and black is back in style! That trash compactor, the intercom/sound system with the cassette tape...you know that was BALL-LER back in the day. You are right about it not translating into a modern home, but it definitely needs some TLC to bring it in line with what is is out there for that kind of money.

Omgosh! I am in love with this home. Can't afford it but it's gorgeous! Changes I would make is put new countertops in kitchen. I don't like black. I would put a waterfall n slide at the pool. Possibly some rock formations. This is my new dream house. I usually love modern. Maybe my tastes have changed a bit lol. I love the palm trees.

My take on the home:
1) View itself is a million dollar worth
2) I didn’t like the kitchen, too old looking for me
3) I hope this house is not haunted?
4) I will knock down the bar in the great room, not a good spot
5) I will knock down that mini desk area near kitchen and knock down the wall there to make it open
6) I will replace the travertine floors with nice white crystal clear marble
7) Pool could have been an infinity pool and expanded
The lot itself is probably already almost 1 million dollar, I am just confused why it is pretty low price, what’s the history of this house?
