The reason they dont attach their names is for marketability. When a book series is owned by a company or is very large, they usually have multiple authors writing for efficiency and for the sake of consistency just have them use a pseudonym that fits the book series, like ‘Erin Hunter’ for warrior cats.

1:22 i don’t know the exact name for this , but sometimes publishing companies will come up with an idea for a series that pertains to a popular market and hire a writer (or multiple) to write for the series. from what i’ve seen, most of the time these writers use pen names for this. i don’t know if this is exactly the case for these books but it’s possible! some examples of this are the gossip girl and pretty little liars books, some of the nancy drew books, and the animorphs series

When he finally gained the ability to hear and could begin speaking without the, what I am going to call "Deaf accent" he was suddenly... British?! Dear Hope,
I'm so glad you've decided to talk about this underrated gem of an anime movie.
When I was little I was a big fan of rainbow magic books, last ones I read were the jewel-themed fairies. I adored this movie, especially because I could finally hear voices of characters I just imagined in my head and I finally saw them in color instead of black and white images.
I've watched this movie on a hungary childrens TV station called „minimax“ which has its own localised version here in Serbia and the dub was also serbian.
Nostalgic greetings from Serbia and lots of love. : )

By the way, The Answer Studio came into form after when the Walt Disney company decided to shut down Walt Disney Animation Japan in June 2004. The last projects that studio created were the animated short "the Cat that Looked at a King" which was attached to the 40th anniversary dvd of Mary Poppins, Mulan 2 and Pooh's Heffalump movie. However, only 35 out of the 101 employees became the driven force of the almost 20 year old studio!! Seriously, if you took one of those books and did a search-and-replace on the fairy’s name, you probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Oh my gosh! I have been WAITING for someone to review this movie! I was a fan of the books as a tween and caught a little of this movie on TV when I was 13 or 14. I didn't grow up watching anime AT ALL so it was very different to what I was used to! I definitely remember the bully scenes and thought the script was really bad 😂
The voice acting was a lot better than what I remembered though! They even got Keith Wickham in to voice Jack Frost and I recall recognising his voice. (I would liken him to Britain's equivalent of Tom Kenny - he's been in countless shows, from the Octonauts to the Koala Brothers!) As for that snowman song...I did not remember it being that terrible! 😵‍💫
I hadn't realised at the time just how good the animation was for a cheap, straight-to-DVD movie. My guess is we can thank the Japanese animators for this! I also really like how they adapted the character designs without completely changing them.
Oh...and I just thought I should mention. I swear I read somewhere that Georgie Ripper sadly passed away in around 2008,😥likely from cancer, but now I can't find proof of this anywhere. It would make sense though, considering that the company had to hire "ghost illustrators" from then on to imitate her style.

Yep. The late Queen actually did make an appearance in Georgie the Royal Prince Fairy. Weird that she wore what she’d wear at evening events (tiara and evening dress) out in the garden under the sun, instead of the hat and coat one would expect, but I doubt the illustrator wanted to pay attention to detail. Lots of the books were dedicated to royal events at the time such as royal weddings, the births of royal babies, and the Diamond jubilee.
Surprised they didn’t make any books related to the Platinum Jubilee. But there is one related to the Coronation.

Omg, I love the rainbow magic series, and I'm hoping to get all the books, but yes, I did heard of the movie before, but I love it!! Along with the franchise. I wish that a new British Rainbow Magic series could be created. Animated, of course, with a cute anime art style. Also, you should check out for your video after the magical girl one, the series Hello Kitty: Super Style! It's a series where Kitty transforms into 7 forms based on jobs to help her friends. The forms are Artist Kitty, Construction Kitty, Detective Kitty, Chef Kitty, Explorer Kitty, Athlete Kitty and Popstar Kitty.
Athlete Kitty appeared in On a roll, (the episode where she she learns her friend how to roller skate) A good sport (Where she backs up for her friend who's to embarrassed to face her competitor) Game night (where she delivers invitations to a game night that her friend has forgotten) and Daredevil Rio (Where she helps a friend find his conference)
Explorer Kitty Appeared in Treasure hunters (Where she, her mascot Haroshee, Batz Maru and a smart wheelchair character named Pi (oc a smart character has to be named after a smart thing) go treasure hunting) Lights out Zing (Where she helps her friend not to be afraid of the dark) The charmed bracelet (Where she tries to break a curse), Too many Frido's (Where she cleans up her friends clones before they wreak an event), King Badtz rules (Where she returns an ancient crown) and the bowterfly effect (Where she gets Butterflies back home)
Artist Kitty appeared in Friendship day (where she teaches one of her friends to make a gift for her roommate), and Pinky's suprise, (Which is your regular keeping secrets episode)
Construction Kitty appeared in A bridge for beavers (or, mistakingly as "The Broken Bridge here on Tiny Pop, even though they didn't change the title) (in which Kitty tries to let 3 beaver siblings agree) and Green with envy (Where she tries to stop a plant destroying Cherry Town (the place they live))
Detective Kitty appeared in Disappearing act, (where they try to find Keropii), The legend of Sweet Tooth (Where they investigate a marshmallow eater) Tiny Frido, big world (Where tries to find out what made her friend tiny) and Pi's thinking cap (Where she finds Pi's thinking cap.)
Popstar Kitty appeared in Sing out loud (where they try to get to a singing contest after being turned small) Blue Pinky (Where she tries to cheer up her friend), and Hicc-up-staged (Where she tries to cure hiccups)
And Chef Kitty appeared in Berry long wait (where she makes a berry smoothie for her friend when the smoothie truck takes a break), Front page Frido (where she helps a friend beat a world record) and The secret ingredient (Where she helps a chef get his secret ingredient). And actually, the characters Pinky and Rio from this series actually originated from a Japanese live action Hello Kitty series!

My irl name was on one of the books but spelled different and for privacy I can't say which. As for my online name, I'm the rainforest fairy, which I was content with, it was a good book.
I was less happy about my name being on a book and more sad that it wasn't on a book I liked (There's literally an Arctic Fox fairy but nooo, my name doesn't start with A...)

1:21 Usually when you're dealing with ghost writers, there's a main writer who came up with a varying amount of the plot/premise. From Jame Patterson's very hands off name recognition flood of books, to Applegate having ghosts writers handle the equivalent of off one episodes in the Animorphs series. However given there is no person actually named Daisy Meadows, it was likely done simply to keep all the books in one place in the library. Library systems have only really figured out that multi author franchises exist in the past like five years due to scholastic not using ghost writers but rather big names in kidlit for series like 39 Clues. Every ghost writing contract will be different about how much recognition the ghost writer gets. Maybe their name is inside the front matter of the book, maybe they're under an NDA to not speak about it. As these would be work for hire contracts, the ghostwriters don't own copyright over their work- the same way tv writers don't own the rights to the episodes they worked on.
