You are absolutely amazing!!! Love you!!
Omg. I love you both. Living for your videos

Judy D Judy 😍😍 you’re so entertaining to watch!!! And now in one video with Robert.. ahhhhhh ❤️❤️
I saw this in my subscription box and I was just like "JUUDDDY! MY GIIIIRRLL!" You and Robert are pretty much the only beauty oriented RUclipsrs I watch so this was just my absolute dream team haha

You should do her makeup as a fix it tutorial to show how you’d recreate the same look!
Omg I would love that!!
Omg please dooooooo
@@RobertWelsh yes you should absolutely do that
Do it!!!!!!!
Why would anyone want to recreate that abomination of a look. I’d rather see Robert’s totally upgraded version of a similar concept but certainly not the same look cus some things should never be repeated😭😆.
Me: never wears make up, never really went beyond eyeliner and mascara.
Also me: Yes, yes, 'tis the wrong technique. Non, non, don't grab her face like that. The key is to *pat, pat, pat*
Me: Oh I'm ready to open my own professional studio! (Knows how to clean brushes, that's a good start.)
I can't even do eyeliner and yet I'm like "what is that BLENDING?!"
How to save a comment
Omg that is so me! I can do a very basic makeup look but will critique the wrong techniques like in an MUA 🤣
You've been taught well~
I used to work at Victoria’s Secret and policed our makeup bar because teens would come there “to get ready.” I’d always say, “I hope you don’t have anything important coming up because that makeup is filthy and germ ridden. You’d be better off kissing everyone in this mall.” The looks of terror were priceless.
The sephora at a local mall near my college always made me cringe when I went in bc the displays were always filthy from people coming in to try them out. I can't imagine what kinds of bacteria they had growing in there 🤢
@@TheToyBoxCharades You are correct. Testers are for your hands, the you need to scrub ‘em life you’re a lead surgeon,
omg as someone who currently works at VS, I'm so happy to have missed all the Beauty Rush collections and Angel Edit collections.. The lip glosses now are enough to squander over. I can't imagine the nonsense you probably have seen during that. Bless your heart for making it through 😂
That's hilarious. Years ago, I worked for Lauder and used the same tactic...VERY effective.
I work in a walgreens, and I saw a woman apply a tester eyeliner TO HER WATERLINE. I yelled at her and said, you know those are not sanitized, right? She complained to the manager about how I was "rude".
Is no one gonna talk about the fake mole she put on her at the end? BRUH. 😂😭😂
are they bad??
@@alexisortizgil5446 I don't think the issue is with drawing on fake moles per se but rather drawing fake moles on a client that the client didn't ask for . . . But like Fudge_Pig points out she was just redrawing one that got covered.
@@alexisortizgil5446 no. I love moles. I don't use full coverage foundation so that I don't cover them and I don't need to draw them again. But everything is a matter of things you like.

This looks like the makeup moms do for their childrens school musical.
Stage makeup is pretty exaggerated and ham on because your features need to be seen from a distance, which makes all damn sense. But this, this is just disgraceful.
@@LadyBloodyWrists yeah I know, but that's good stage makeup
@@Mike-iq6vf stage makeup still requires to be blended and properly applied
I know, I'm a theater kid. I know good stage makeup. What I'm trying to say is that this looks like the makeup volunteers (mostly moms) do at the school musical of 10 year old children. I live in the Netherlands, our schools are quite different. In the last year of primary school we always do a school musical with our class (groep 8 musical). This looks just like the makeup we had on for that.
No, this is what or how moms do their kids makeup for toddlers and tiaras 👶🏻👑
She put that mascara on straight from the tube with the included spoolie. This girl is so dedicated to her craft not telling her to stop immediately. I really hope she didn’t get pink eye after this.
Brandi Munguia I LOVE Judy and I freak so hard watching her videos when she goes to an MUA that is not hygienic 🤮🤮. I just don’t want her to ever contract anything!!
Yeah BLEH. I had my makeup professionally done once, and the MUA was very hygienic, but I still brought my own mascara instead of using hers just in case. I also am too scared of getting cold sores, so I brought my own personal lip products, and I DEFINITELY would've forced the gross lady in this video to use my own lip products. Dear God, the makeup artist in this video....I would've gone home immediately and washed everything off as thoroughly as humanly possible.
@@Donnashianna I was even more horrified when she went to a well reviewed MUA who was so unhygienic also!
I would've ran for the hills when she used the lipstick out of the tube.
@@Donnashianna same, I’m so scared for her to go to those places. Even one of her recent worst review the woman takes off her mask to show Judy her lipstick. Then proceeds to put her own personal lipstick on Judy’s mouth. 🤮

I’d be willing to bet that “MUA” is actually a hair stylist who thinks she’s a m.u.a.
That's what I thought. It really looks like they are in a Hair Salon there.
Totally, those aren't dirty nails. That is hair dye steins, what shows she is not a good hair artist either.
I bet there's a few chemical cuts out there if her hair skills are anything like her make-up skills 💇✂️😂😂😕
She must've lied to the store & said that she does makeup. She need the job.
Hey hey, don’t shame us all 😝 I’m a hairdresser and an MUA and I would NEVER do this!!!
How in the actual hell, did the MUA manage to make the client look 30 years older??? 😳 Definitely not trying to be rude towards the client, she’s absolutely gorgeous! The MUA just did an obviously terrible job. Lol 😅
When Robert randomly took a brush to his face cracked me up bc I envisioned that as a substitute for whipping out a fan to cool and soothe himself from the massive amount of stress this video caused! It gave Robert the vapors! Lol
It gave me Roly vibes ahaha

Can we talk about why her makeup “Kit” is literally a 5 year olds toy tool box 🤣🤣
I wouldn't be surprised if she went into her daughter's room and stole her cheap play makeup 😂
It's cos she is like a 5yr old. The way she held the brushes was like she was colouring in a colouring book
It's an old 80-90s makeup caboodle, I have one I got in Jr high (I am 40)
She actually looked like she was colouring in by numbers. I was literally horrified but laughing at the same time as I couldn't believe it was for real. The way she was squeezing her chin while dragging that disgusting tube of rotten lipstick across her mouth, and nearly popping out her eye while wiping the sponge underneath. Was like a strange form of torture. 😵💚

Uhhh idk about the nails, I'm more of a darker complexion myself and it looks like I've got the same nail condition/discoloration kind of stuff. It looks the same when I wash my hands and clean my nails sooo

Robert Welsh right? That’s just foul. That poor girl.....I hope she went straight home and washed that atrocity off her face.
This reminds me of the salons in my small hometown in Vietnam about nearly 20 years ago. This is how people did makeup on their clients around that time, similar tools, similar techniques (except the contour part and the colorful eye colors, although blue was definitely popular back then, based on my mom wedding photos). Oh, and we had the sponge applicator for eyeshadow, not brushes, remember that thing? lol. Nostalgia
Oh God I remember the sponge applicator they hurt!!
@@becgould3772 yup! Good old memories lol.
@@BtwAlice lol yes! There would be so many people wondering what we are talking about!😂
Yeah, I remember my mom doing looks like these almost 2 decades ago! Very outdated style. There's only a couple of things that make it somewhat modern, like the contouring you mentioned, but that doesn't really change the overall effect
Robert on ingredients found in cheap Amazon makeup: “Rat poison, rat poop, RATS”
Thank you for confirming my suspicions.
My god the “makeup artist” aged her 25 years.
I'm only in the beginning of this video and oh my god that's DISGUSTING and so, so dangerous. I know a girl who got MENINGITIS because of a bacterial infection, and the doctors suspect it was because she popped a pimple and then put makeup over it, using a dirty brush. I do makeup for others sometimes, but I only ever use disposable sponges and mascara wands. Imagine giving a client pink-eye. Ew.
Oh my God! That's so scary! I am traumatized. I do clean my brushes but I will be extra careful now. TFS. Hope she made a full recovery.
Some boy on the football team at my university got spinal meningitis. So sad, they had to test the whole team and basically clean the locker room, etc with a blowtorch.
@@juliannah5721 hope the rest of the team is okay:(
Late reply...I am a master optician and have been in optical field for 30 years now. I have seen some horrific eye infections from people using dirty make up brushes, wands, ect...I have had over a handful of cases over the years where the persons lost their eyesight due to the eye infections going staph. I have had people get corneal scarings which can cause you to have quadrant blindnes and I have many people who have presented with corneal ripplings. The cause of this is from the build up of makeup products from the person(s) not thoroughly cleaning their previous days application of makeup on their lashes or waterline and just adding more makeup on top of the makeup still there. So be sure and thoroughly cleanse all mascara and eyeliner off your eyes anytime you wear it because, your corneal surface is very soft and build up of makeup can change the surface shape of the cornea ie...corneal rippling. The rippling can cause a drastic change in your eyesight. Also, please do not use items around your eyes that aren't meant to be used as makeup such as coloured pencils. 5 minute crafts had that hack in one of their videos and I gringed like Robert did at this video. Coloured pencils aren't formulated to go near the eye so there is a huge potential of it causing an infection and not to mention the damage you are doing to the delicate skin area around the eyes by dragging the pencil that again, isn't formulated like a coloured eyeliner is to be creamy and not pull at the skin.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk. 😂😂😂😂
Morganna Whitehead Omg, people use coloured pencil around their eyes? Wtf?! Just the thought makes me cringe.
On another note, you have seriously traumatised me, because I have been known to fall asleep with my eye makeup on, and contacts in, after a party at a friend’s house...then top it up and head home in the morning.
Now I’m starting to think that I must have a gazillion eye problems.
whispers: *"her nails...."*
😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭 i felt the pain
They look so dirty! 😷
Robert saying "her nails are making me sick" made me laugh so loud. 😂
Right like it's one thing to be naiive about doing makeup as a professional but when doing almost every and any damn job catering to people PERSONAL HYGIENE IS REQUIRED
Her nails killed me!
I dry heaved a little when I saw them! 🤮
Omg, that brush she uses when applying the "eye primer" (and other eye products) is from a set of FAKE urban decay "Naked" brushes, they come in a gold metal tin, I know this because someone got the same set for me, and I was like urban decay came out with a tin of brushes from the Naked line? No they didn't lol. They're fakes from DHgate or Ali Express.
OMG! My sister have one too! Lol
I thought the same thing! It looks like the super stiff brushes that come in the naked palettes!! Of course they're the knock off ones though ha!
They're so popular in Pakistan. And some of my friends have that set. And one actually recommended me to buy that. And was there like “never would I ever in my entire life buy this tin box full of trash brushes. If they do the work for you then go ahead. I'll rather buy original drugstore than buying fake/copies of high end”
I thought they were paint brushes
I was wondering this and even paused because of looks like it says “nakeds”

I don’t understand why these “MUA’s” get defensive when people say their work is terrible. Who is telling them they’re talented????
It's like some people on American Idol.
I'm a hairstylist of 19 years and think the same thing about some others. 🤭
their moms and maybe older aunts
They are defensive because they assume they know what they are doing because they have a little creativity with makeup. But they probably didn't go to cosmetic school to learn the ethics, uses and techniques.
Oh THERE’s my makeup sponge I used as a teenager in the 90’s. I’ve been looking for that
😂😂😂
Lmao. The shade of the sponge looks about right for me. Being pale, it was a struggle!
“Her nails are making me sick.” Lmao
It’s true though. I ALWAYS keep a fresh manicure. Clients don’t want to see nasty hands working on them 🤢
Francesca Holmes looks so unprofessional her nails. She would have been better off having the polish removed and having her nails being neatly filed. Also looks like she didn’t wash her hands either🤢
That’s okay but not everyone can afford to get a manicure. I don’t understand what is wrong with people having nails. We all have them. I am not hating on you or anyone just that people like the Mua in my town at least are very poor immigrants. They set up parlours because that is the only thing they know how to do. They don’t know the cultures and protocols observed by western artists and that’s why they often get criticised and lose money. My heart breaks for them. The hygiene issue is unacceptable but saying she doesn’t wash her hands or her hands are nasty isn’t nice. I see lots of people hating on these women and calling them dirty simply for existing. that is not what’s happening here but I don’t think we should make guesses like that.
E L - There’s nothing wrong with having nails, what is wrong though is when they’re dirty and you’re all up in someones face with them
E L plus it’s the poorly done polish. It often implies to others that that person isn’t on top of their hand hygiene because they couldn’t be bothered to clean off 1-2week old polish. It’s one thing for a teenager to have old polish on but when your job involves touches people’s faces a lot then there is a sense of professionalism when they are kept tidy. If she had taken off the old polish and given her hands a quick wash with a nail brush to get out anything under the nail her hands would look immensely better. It’s quick and wouldn’t cost anything. Old polish like that can look like dirt or who knows what under the nail which makes people squeamish.
@@dokidoki719 I do not think she meant u have to wear nail polish or acrylic But your finger nails NEED to be cleaned and either u were nail polish corectly or not at all. They are enough woman who wear acrylics and have dirty nails 🤮

I like this. All the gurus on RUclips make the same mistakes, so sometimes your advice/corrections can be repetitive. That's not a bad thing! You're still entertaining and it's good to drill the point home for people watching. Those are the makeup palettes my class used in Beauty School. We use them on mannequins for practice. I didn't think they were meant for actual clients in salons.
Edit: the nails are like that from applying color on hair without gloves, is my guess. She hasn't been doing any part of cosmetology long is another guess.
Ohh I was in a store the other day where they do makeup looks, but not everyone there is a MUA. They literally just pointed to some random dude and told him to go do someone's makeup. I'm so glad he flat out refused because he's a skincare expert at that store, he knows basic makeup stuff, but that's really not his game. I can't believe they actually do that, in store, in front of customers even!
I actually don’t understand how someone in 2020 could do makeup this badly
Age can play a factor. I'm 42 and don't really wear make up often. But I was sooo stuck in the 90's when it came to some techniques (or a lack of). It's a huge learning curve trying to learn all this. But as a so called professional she should be going back to school or something to upgrade etc if this is the case.
Yeah if you are going to charge someone for makeup then you need to learn how to it properly. I would never even do a friends makeup without learning sanitation techniques.
There is so much information available. This doesn't make sense.
Especially with all of the tutorials out there!
@@becca6420 look at the woman’s hands..lol..she is CLEARLY younger! Mid twenties to early 30s at MOST. I’m 32 and I could be a professional makeup artist with my barely any experience if this woman is making money doing this horrible work. Ooffff...it’s so bad and the lack of hygiene is SICKENING (and not in the good sense for once).
THIS is why I always feel more comfortable doing my own makeup, with my own tools and products. I even insisted on doing my own wedding makeup since I wanted a natural and neutral look that looked like me and not a super model. (And it turned out great!)
I'm with you there!
I was really happy with my Bridal makeup, I had a couple of practice runs and made a couple of tweaks before my big day, which really helped

LOL I love you xD
I’ve been watching Judy’s videos for a while and let me tell you, she is an angel. She’s so sweet and humble after getting put through the ringer in some of her videos. An icon.
Me too i love judy d. I watch her videos when im about to sleep it so relaxing
Thank you for mentioning the “bad eye” that is what I struggle with. I’m right handed and my right eye is my bad eye. So a vid on how to do things more symmetrical would be great! Like reaching across I do better, I think lol
Same for me!!
My vision is poor in my left eye so I can close the left eye and apply makeup to the left eye fine. It’s a crap shoot as to what I’m going to get on the right eye with closing it and not being able to see or trying to barely keep it open and apply make up to it!! Haha. Adventure!!
I have varying degrees of hooded eye on each eye.....my left is more hooded on the outer corner and my right is more hooded in the inner corner. It's super hard to get a symmetrical shape the technique is different for each. So I have to do each eye separately. It's taken me years to figure out why they never look the same lol
Same! Both my eyes are hooded, but differently hooded. Also one is higher than the other. It’s weiiird!
yes! my eye lid shapes are COMPLETELY different. i would love a vid on eye shapes and how to do symmetrical eye makeup
Robert is always so professional and offers amazing education. He throws the perfect amount of shade just to balance things out. Goals.
Started this just after eating and immediately gagged at that sponge. Just... No.
(Can't wait for ghost stories tomorrow!) 😍
“I talk with my hands. I’m expressive” 😂 that’s me to everyone 😂😂
I actually gasped in shock when I saw that sponge and my dog ran over to see if I was okay 😂 I can't believe someone would actually be that unhygenic.
can u do makeup for someone who has cystic acne? everyone always does all these natural looks but they have "perfect skin"
Same sis, we need this
Same. Here for it
Or in my case pores you could swim in
Do you know emeraldxbeauty on Instagram? She has severe cystic acne and does makeup tutorials and talks a lot about her acne
I know a Korean makeup artist called Edward Avila has had a couple of videos about his acne scars and how he does makeup to avoid making them look shadowy.
Me at work tomorrow channeling Robert..."so what you need to do here is...*pause to powder face*
So real... Watching that lady do awful things to Judy's face was making me want to powder, powder, powder, powder... Where's my alcohol?? 91% 91%... I'll just pour it on me... I need to sanitize.
You should see the one where the MUA gets eyeliner in Judy’s eye and she uses a sponge IN HER EYE to get it out
Lee Bug NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (Michael Scott from the office)
OH GOD, NO!!!!
You just described my worst nightmare which i didn't know i had. I'd rather die than have that done to me
Oh god
The makeup artists torture her!!! I just saw one where her whole eye is full of powder and her brother zooms in and Judy said she couldn’t feel it. 👁
My boyfriend rolls his eyes every time I've yotube on and he's in the room but tonight was the first time he's sat and watched one of your videos and he was killing himself laughing. I was lost for words 😂😂 this has to be the best react video yet!!
Roberts face was utterly PRICELESS the whole video.
That tip about needing to blend your eye shadow into the area you want, instead of applying it in that shape; I think that's the most important thing I've been doing wrong . Thank you!
"Listen, don't be wiping you brush on SURFACES!" I don't know why but this reaction made me laugh so much. You're the best!
Robert I’d love to see you react to Samantha Ravndahl doing her makeup! She’s a trained makeup artist but also doesn’t do any of the “normal” beauty guru techniques 💜💜 love x
Omg i Love Sam!
I think she is excellent too
I love Sam! Robert, please react to her!
Robert: “She hasn’t used too much makeup. She hasn’t dripped product all over the face. So that’s nice.”
Me: Aww! Roberts so nice! Just looking for anything he can say something good about!
Gotta love how he’s so nice he found nice things he could say where most wouldn’t have! 🙌🏻
I died when he said, “Whats this called....... hand.” And that you, “Should not physically move their face.” Lmao 😂👌🙏🏼
When you took a second to powder your T zone 😂
rachel p 🤣🙌
I literally gasped out loud when I saw that tatty, dirty sponge! When I was a professional I would use a fresh sponge wedge per client or a makeup brush, and I would use a small plastic dish to dispense the foundation into, which was thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each client. I never took products straight from my skin to their face. My God, she's about to rub her face off! ***shudder***
Three minutes in and I’m already traumatized from seeing that SPONGE 😭
There's no wat in hell that sponge would have touched my face. I'd drop gloves.
When Robert went: “her nails 🤭” I felt that
I think Judy is a perfect muse for showing mistakes and how to fix them. You’re the only two make up people I subscribe to. I think it’s fantastic that I can get your perspective and how much I can learn from it.And you both just absolutely crack me up!
The other day I was watching Judy's videos and I was wondering "omg if Robert sees this his jaw will drop (but not in a good way 😂) " and here we are 🤣🤣 love your videos 🖤
😂😂😂😂 Thank you!! 🖤🖤
This is the most underrated channel on RUclips. How do you not have a million subscribers yet?! You're one of the only artists I trust
I lost it when she dabbed her brush on her “Kit & Caboodle” 🤣 Definitely a NO to this “artist”. Robert’s reactions are priceless🙌
Lol it's a Caboodle... I have mine still. Under my bed somewhere.
Rosiegiggles 69 Why did I call it a Kit & Caboddle?!? 🤣😂 I don’t know what I was thinking of, we called something that before🤣
@@lauratownson3187it's ok.. We all forget stuff.
@@lauratownson3187 I used to call it Kit and Caboodle too. But I just googled it and Kit and Kaboodle is a dog food lol. Probably where we got that from lol
Tamara Kalohe lmao! That’s where we got it from, no doubt!🤣😂
Lol! I love how you quickly throw in “her nails, they make me sick” into the middle of your sentence 😆
Makeup: *has no rules*
This mua: *exists*
Makeup: *now has rules*
makeup has always had some sort of rules
It's more of a theory, as with any art. There's a base set of rules you have to learn in order to break them and think outside the box in your craft.
There are sanitary rules that absolutely MUST be followed. There are so many diseases you can get from these horrible practices that I truly hope this chick went and sanitized her face after this experience.... with a lot a lot of alcohol and maybe even a tetanus shot.
I mean it has sanitary rules and she clearly doesn't know what she's doing unless she likes a big nose and a weird ass chin shape
@@MissyMissfire Agreed! Read this article last year. Sanitation with makeup is a big issue. Did you know you that makeup samples can harbor herpes? thefreshtoast.com/culture/makeup-samples-contain-a-disturbing-amount-of-bacteria/
"Rat Poison, Rat Poo, Rats" I laughed so hard, I Love ur videos, ur personality is amazing!
"Rat stew, rat sandwich, rat gumbo"

@@zarinaromanets7290 Rat soup.
I’m surprised Judy D hasn’t featured rodents at the places she goes to. 😂
I see you mentioned textured skin in this video! This is something I struggle with, and if you wanted to make a video/mention tips for textured skin in a video, I would love to see it
What we learned from this video: cheap make up sets ingredients can include (but not limited to) rat poison, rat POOP... RATS
Omg Judy is so funny! I'm addicted to her worst reviewed videos 😂😂😂
I don't know how her skin survives these treacherous conditions.
Just started watching and I'm so worried for her skin
Me too,I've watched her from the beginning ❤️ Judy D!! Did you see the 'natural' make-up look last week, I thought it was awful makeup, she looked terrible imho!! Well, I mean she's still georgous, but her makeup was 🤮...
Infections? Bacteria? It's so horrible, can't take it!
foundation: dragged
lipstick: patted on
That sponge gives me shivers of terror. This must be one of the worst ones I've seen and we're not even done with the base yet.
I always used those cheap square sponges on clients when I worked as MUA, exactly for the reason Robert mentioned: expensive sponges are expensive and these cheap little ones work just as well and you can throw them out afterwards, unless you have regular customers then a more expensive non-disposable sponge might be an option for each customer. We didn't have BeautyBlenders back when I worked makeup... Or I'd use a brush.
Okay, we're in eye makeup now... is this a horror video we're watching?
This was absolutely a horror flick 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥
Exactly! My mom used to use the disposable rectangle ones forever. She would have me rip the block apart to make them into triangles, lol. I’m pretty sure you can get 25 or so for less than $5. And they used to be even cheaper in bulk.
OMG I love Judy D - she's such a sweetheart. Her worst reviewed artist videos are the only ones I watch because she doesn't go off attacking the artist like other people do for the sake of the video. She takes it like a champ and the sound effects - I literally cry every time!
i started giggling when you began to explain us the eyeliner technique with so much passion and yet we couldn't see anything you showed on your hand 😂😂
I thought it has something to do with my phone
