    $2500 for the car, $2000 for the doughnuts that only al wanted since Al wanted the doughnuts make him pay the two grand.
    Tim had the lady figured out from the start even though he was a jackass about it on his own show.
    And he was right the whole gift of food routine and the little old lady routine, they are shady business tactics.
    Never do business with a go between deal with one own one title, be firm in the amount your willing to spend, don't try and play hardball.
    And don't be a douchebag to the seller they can and will jack the price up.

    • @Rushinator1
      @Rushinator1 5 лет назад +2

      Raymond Belmont with a real show, the car would have already been bought. They wouldn’t do a live negotiation precisely for what happened in the clip.
      The seller has all the power when it’s live. The host would look like a joke if they couldn’t get a deal. So a live negotiation would force them to pay much higher.
      So they do it before hand and play act like they are really negotiating.

    • @BelmontClan
      @BelmontClan 5 лет назад

      @@Rushinator1 doing a live show is still a bad move, cause the sale ain't over till you have a printed bill of sale and the money and title changes hands, and the title change notorized.

    i have two friends in their 50's who never learned to drive at all. i didn't learn until i was 25. i never understood people's love of cars and driving. i don't even like riding in cars and drive as little as possible. anything with an engine makes me uncomfortable. wish i could walk and bike everywhere. the world was so much better off, so much cleaner and safer and less expensive before engines and fuel were invented. cars and driving are way overrated

      My mom never learned and now that my dad is gone I have to take her places along with other people.
      It's call freedom. If you want to go get donuts at 3 am, you can. If there is disaster, you can be one of the first out of town. You won't get far quickly on a bike. I have been driving since I was 16, first a motorcycle, then a small truck. It enabled me to always have a job and to have opportunities none drivers don't have. Anyone I have ever known that was unemployed for long periods didn't have a car.

    • @39PSIOnTheDaily
      @39PSIOnTheDaily 5 лет назад +3

      The joy of driving is in the sense of freedom and adventure it brings. For advanced drivers who truly love driving at its core, it’s the visceral sensations of being behind the wheel, in the driver seat, working with the car to overcome all obstacles and paths that have come your way. Yes, a horse may be able to offer the same form of transport as a car, but it’s nowhere near as responsive, fast, or engaging. To be able to go 300 miles in any direction in 4-5 hours is the cars greatest strength; it opens up the world around you, as we know it.
