  • What will we humans do when our Earth is no longer habitable in the distant future? NASA has an exciting answer to this question: planets that are even more habitable than Earth could be the solution for humanity. The Kepler telescope has discovered over 2000 exoplanets - but the problem remains that these planets are currently inaccessible to us. Nevertheless, there are some worlds in the universe that are so fascinating and promising that we will certainly do everything we can to actually visit and possibly colonize these perfectly suitable super-Earths one day.

Stephen Hawking's is wrong. I know that may be hard for most to understand. If you can take millions of people into a ship and fly halfway across the universe to another planet then you definitely have the power and resources to restore your planet that you're already living on. Wow!

Let’s say this is true, what arrogance some of us have! Who the hell do we think we are to just move to another planet that might be inhabited by somebody else? Do we think we just have the right to move to some other planet (assuming we could get there) and infringe on the life/society that might be there? We screw up our own planet and then think we can just go to some other planet so we can screw theirs up?!
How about we fix ourselves and our OWN planet and not intrude on another planet’s lifeforms?! We don’t just own the universe. This isn’t imminent domain. We have our chance. We have our star. We have our planet. If we ruin it, then, hey, that’s on us!
We are responsible for ourselves. We are responsible for our home. We don’t just ruin our own house and move in to the neighbor’s house, without their permission, just so we can ruin theirs. We clean our own house. We change our habits. We take care of what is ours and ourselves.
To do otherwise is wrong! Look at the problems we have just because our ancestors moved to other land. The indigenous didn’t invite us, and now, we are hated for colonization. We have to deal with that because we are here. But can anyone imagine how bad it will be if we invade another planet?!
If we did this, I would be ashamed of humanity.

they'll have to do the same one day (obviously), and like the 'then us', they will be bright enough to know star flotsam like lifezone planets/us is a common galactic event and if anything be (then) quite welcoming, hopefully also having a propagation aspect (or they wouldn't be there) like a dumb ego. Party on.

@@mrprice8636yes when discovering if planets are hospitable they measure the light to determine if the planet is in the habitable zone, telescopes such as the Hubble and jwst do send back actual images that are enhanced and out for our viewing.

There are so many earthlike worlds in our galaxy alone for each people on our earth. It's amazing. However most of the earth like size planets and super earths are mostly around red dwarf stars. Imagine billions more G-type stars like our sun waiting to be discovered; billions more earth to super earths to discover and oh to settle on.

yes, ah, say 100 times light speed - would be great to be a stage 3 civ on this planet, continuing, no war, and actually advanced tech, not today's 'just bright enough to start understanding we're not bright, as a stage 1, etc.

    - We live in the same climate as it was 5 million years ago and the cancer will go away -
I have an explanation regarding the cause of the climate change and global warming, it is the travel of the universe to the deep past since May 10, 2010.
Each day starting May 10, 2010 takes us 1000 years to the past of the universe.
Today May 23, 2024 the state of our universe is the same as it was 5 million and 127 thousand years ago.
On october 13, 2026 the state of our universe will be at the point 6 million years in the past.
On june 04, 2051 the state of our universe will be at the point 15 million years in the past.
On june 28, 2092 the state of our universe will be at the point 30 million years in the past.
On april 02, 2147 the state of our universe will be at the point 50 million years in the past.
The result is that the universe is heading back to the point where it started and today we live in the same climate as it was 5 million years ago.

Suppose we reach a technological level that allows us to reach habitable planets like Earth. Several questions immediately arise that I almost never see discussed on any channel dealing with space and human massive migration topics. If they are so habitable, why are we supposing they will also be uninhabited by intelligent beings similar to us? In that case, we will be considered invaders and treated with hostility. And how about microbes and viruses and fungi our bodies immune system is not accustomed to. Even the most recent SF movies are not dealing with this very real issue. We would have to wear isolation suits all the time and in a best but improbable scenario, try and make human hybrids accustomed to that particular planet. This is exactly why the martians from the War of the Worlds eventually died and failed to conquer us. So, in my opinion, what is presented here and in numerous other "clone" channels are childish stories and wishful thinking at best. If Earth is gone, most of us will be gone save for some elite few who will live on an artificial space station habitat, similar to the one in the movie Elysium.
