I like how the audience was quiet while the deaf person was signing. Showing him the same respect as they would to any other person talking.
Tell that to the disrespectful baby I kept hearing.

@@USMCCombatVet4TastyCrayons nobody puts baby in the corner.
That’s what I’m saying
I love that he was focused on the fan asking the question instead of just watching the interpreter waiting for her to explain
Yes. I also like how they answer him and not talk to the interpreter. They face him and answer him. Awesome realization of customer service.
AGTER 100 PERCENT
Yes he was 👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
Yes that's respect and I love it. Keep the child feeling independent
Common sense what’s wrong with people
I can testify that John is as humble as he is. I got the chance to run into a guy at the hotel, who's arms were bigger then my head, ended up talking about 15-20 minutes just about life in general. I didn't know until later that the WWE was also staying at the hotel too, and the guy was John Cena.
That’s so cool what the hell
I will never understand the hate John Cena gets. He plays an obnoxious character but he is genuinely cool guy.
@Leah NoLiah I’ve never seen one
@@DWQJVB fuckin excellent comment my friend. Bravo. Genuinly pissed I can only like it once 😂😂😂
People felt he was being shoved down their throats in the wrestling world. When in reality no one was telling them who to like. I felt like he worked hard to get where he was and later in his career took extra steps to learn extra moves and put people over when he didn't have to. People don't understand the business enough to get that. As a human John is a great guy from the times I've met him. His personal life will always be dragged in the mud because people suck on those fake Bella tits so much. They can't understand reality TV is made to look for drama purposes. Anyway sorry for my long rant - I just happen to work with a lot of people in that business who get a bad rap and it sucks.
@Leah NoLiah who?
A big part of the hate, it's just trolling.
I was on the edge of my seat the entire time expecting the toddler to babble and Cena lean forward and say "That's an interesting question, yes."
I don't know how you can read my thoughts an emotions, but I like you.

After the baby babble, I was expecting someone to say, "I'm sorry. Could you repeat that?" Lol

@Anu Raj well in fact, john cena is omnipresent. He is everywhere at once, humans are just unable to see him

Wait...John Cena was in this??
I wish ASL were taught more in schools. My son is DHH and while he doesn't need ASL to communicate many of his friends do. He got to take it for 2 years in middle school before budget cuts out here put the kibosh on it.
That being said...how on Earth can anyone hate John Cena? He's such an awesome human 😊❤️
I live in a state where you can take it in school. It is a great language to take and I have seen some great teachers online who are free. Check RUclips and tiktok. There is a woman on tiktok who signs songs and is beginning to teach it. I love that you think it should be taught in more places. Best of luck to you and your boy.
Jon C w well known to be a really GOOD GUY 🏋️♀️
@@fallbackbee9170 thanks 😊 we'll check it out. My daughter volunteers with special needs kiddos and he was teaching her a lot of the ASL he knows since the staff members were learning a word a day to teach the kids. So really it'd be great for all of us to learn.
The community college here offers classes that HS kids can take; but this year was so hideous that they didn't offer the program. Fingers crossed it's back by summer so we can see if he can take those over the break and during school next year.
Laura M I don’t get it. Our insanely high (depending on where you live) property taxes that every household pays, is supposed to go to schools ect. Mostly allocated for schools. Depends on the county and neighborhood. Goes to show you how they squander all that money they get.
Back in the 80s, we learned it at my school in kinder-2nd. But when I tried to pick it up again years later, it was extremely difficult to find classes even at colleges. Really sucks.
I'm flagging this video for clickbait bc Cena isnt even in in it

This dude needs to be protected at all cost. He can play piano, learned mandarin basically for fun and now this.
@@francisfoley9048 he didn't bow down and grovel. The studio made him do that because they were scared it would hurt china's numbers for the box office. You think he wanted to apologize? No, universal made him do it

And he makes himself available for *every* Make A Wish kid that wants to see him
And he's part of the Army of K-Pop fans.
I’m not a fan of wrestling per se, but I adore how absolutely wholesome wrestlers are with their fans.
the fans are why they do what they do.
This comment is so wholesome. Respect.
Wait until you see MJF. It's always an otherworldly level of wholesome when he interacts with the fans!
Ryan ok 😃
Being patient in treating a deaf person the same way as anyone else means so much to that person.
It's fantastic that they kept their attention on the fan asking the question, not looking at the interpreter. Also very sweet that Cena tried to act out his reply. Saying any of that is sign language is far from accurate.
Thank you! I was going back and forth in the video because I thought I missed something, but the "drinking beer"-thing is what they call ASL? 😂
I tried my hardest for the last 15 years to hate Cena. I just can't hate this guy. He is the prototype for the perfect WWE Wrestler
Why "try" to hate someone?
@@stephaniereece3573 I didn't want to like him. I felt he was a corporate stooge being shoved down our throats. I admit now that WWE knew what they were doing. Cena is the prototype for the perfect WWE superstar.
Everybody else talking about John Cena and here I am admiring Daniel Bryan’s charitable heart...❤️
The last I saw John Cena had granted over 650 make a wish requests! That’s more then the next 3( Justin Bieber, Michael Jordan, Hulk Hogan) combined! That’s as of May 2020. You can say what you want about wrestling not being real, but I’ve never seen anyone that’s ever been more real with their time and love‼️ Just saying 🙈
Word
Yeah the biggest muscle he has is his heart!
That is in the midst of a demanding wrestling schedule. These guys don't get a lot of time off.
John Cena gives totally of himself.
@@budd921 no offense meant to John Cena as I'm sure his schedule is insane but as someone who has never been an entertainer of any kind my initial reaction is that MJ, MJ, and JB would have a lot less time that Cena for well anything. But the fact is Cena could still be pumping out granted wishes when he is now on the same "level" as JB (in regards to fame)
This brought a tear to my eye, it's moments like this that show how much they truly care for fans
Awesome when cena was like " I ain't gonna let that stop me" - showed a lot of heart there, much respect to you cena!!!!

The amazing patience and attention they pay to the audience is so pure
That was great to see... As a cancer patient myself, yes please donate and not so much for the adults like myself. We can get wigs from a catalog that get donated. Kids shouldn't have to put on yet another layer of bravery if they don't feel comfortable without their hair. I saw how hard it was on one little girl and I had literally just got my wig that day and she hadn't gotten hers yet but had to go back to school in a few days. I gave her mine without a second thought. Kids have a rough enough time with all the changes that getting older brings, if you can help, do what you can to help. I'm so glad he said that and was able to help like he did!
tbh I am not into wrestling but I ALWAYS enjoy watching people treat others with the utmost respect I know these are professionals at entertaining but they still went above what was expected to make him feel included and that's awesome!
I, admittedly, haven't been a pro wrestling fan since I was a kid---although I have MOUNTAINS of respect for their athleticism!!! But, when I see them engage their fans at this level, KUDOS and THANK YOU to these Ladies and Gentlemen!!!
When all their heads turn towards the interpreter.
They were all so genuinely sweet and I love that!
Bryan Danielson also a great person. Big heart. Good dude.
Couldn't agree more!
Man i love this....this is how you should treat your fans
John not only let this man come up there, he also greeted him first, JUST IN CASE there could be a threat. Always courteous and chivalrous, he is so cool.
I love how the audience was also quiet when the fan was trying to ask questions as well.
As a celebrity, one of the few wholesome thing you can do is learn sign language
Pro tip: the translator has to sign *everything* you say including the ‘tell them...’, so it’s polite to speak directly to the person trying to communicate with you. No shade to Dwayne just a PSA.
Thank you, cool to know!
This did not surprise me. When the wrestling Stars heard that he couldn't come up there to them. They just said okay and all of them got up and went down there to him.
They all do it even the ones that are playing the bad guy or gal wrestler.
I believe that after the death of Bob Hope, wrestlers were the first to pick up Mr hopes tradition of entertaining the troops. It takes a lot of guts to go into a war zone unarmed.
When I was a Kid, John Cena was one of my heroes, my brother and I used to do wrestling and was always ending up banged and wounded 🤣 and now I have 2 kids son and a daughter, I itroduced WWE to my son and now he also like John Cena.. damnn time sure fly fast when you get older 😅

Thanks John… I’ll see you around hopefully when we cross paths again brother… remember once a friend stands up for others is always a good friend to the end…
I love how they are all watching the sign language. No impatience and willing.
John Cena is pure amazing. Never met him, but know a few people who have and am told he is the nicest most genuine and approachable person to meet. He’s a car guy so that makes him extra awesome in my book.
Honestly donating your hair is one of the greatest feeling ever! Every few years I like to cut it off and donate it when I get sick of the length 😂
What is so amazing.. is the respect they have for their fans.. and that they truly listened intently and truly answered him..
I've been donating my hair to Wigs for Kids several times now for the exact reason he stated. I started with Locks of Love, but found out they actually deny wigs to people who are terminal! Found Wigs for Kids and am so happy I did!!!
You can see the two types of couples here. The couple that works, brie and Daniel, who are sitting close and by each other and the couple that won't, John and Nikki. She's sitting like 2 feet away from him like she's a stranger
Never understand the dislike for this man. He loves what he does and always getting involved with the community
People dont dislike the man, they dislike the character in the WWE, which is fine.

I heard that deaf people have their other senses much sharper than regular people but being able to see John Cena? Whew, never imagined that sharp
He really is a great guy. My son had Leukemia and met him on his Make A Wish trip. He was with another family, but he stopped to say hi to Zach.

I am surprised that John Cena didn't answer it in Mandarin.

John Cena: My 6 year old is such a big fan! I love the humility.. definitely a fan!
John Cena is an amazing guy. Years ago when WWE did an event in Fresno he met with several Make-a-Wish kids. People kind of forget in WWE these people play characters, and some of the characters are a-holes. I will never forget the smile on those kids faces.

Plot twist he was never deaf he just wanted the hug 🤗
Woah! It's been years since I've heard Mr. Cena I was taken aback by his voice here
I hated this man at one point when he was a pro wrestler, but that was basically all wrestling. But he has proved me wrong and I love how caring he really is! People change aka me. He is very inspirational to me.
I know people dislike Cena as a wrestler, but he has donated more time to charity and Make a Wish than any other person by hundreds of hours.
Good people I loved the ending. Staff is telling the interpreter they can't allow contact after asking to shake hands.
From what I can interpret from John Cena. The deaf man had likely assumed it was going to be okay and started walking down the aisle. So Cena says something like we'll I'm not gunna tell him to stop and go back when he's already walking. AND THEY ALL stood up to not only shake his hand but give a hug.
He's just like I'm not gunna make this guy feel awkward and disappointed, let him come up, we like em anyways!
That was absolutely and sincerely outstanding 👏👌🙌
